When the receivers start catching passes on a regular basis, our offense will be fine. WCU needs to be a confidence-builder for the team, as a whole. Hopefully, the 2nd String gets some meaningful reps Saturday.

Watch the clip of Kendall Fuller taking on the RT, you can see Dadi exploding so far off the line that Kouandijo (totally guessed on the spelling there) has no defense but to grab him, resulting in a holding call nowhere near the play. That will make coaches very unhappy, when your All American LT gets a holding call on a play running over the RT against a 215 lb DE.

I'm actually going to this game. Its a short drive up and I need some new Hokie swag from Campus Empo. The weather looks like its going to be perfect for a game.
French: I absolutely love these analyses. THANK YOU for taking the time to do them. As some one who loves football (and the Hokies) but never got the chance to play, I really enjoy learning about the intricacies of the game. I learn every time, and your columns are truly my favorite read of the week. Its all the better when there is something good to report over the constant problems we saw last year.

Mars Hill is another quaint little liberal arts college in the NC mountains. Papa Nick's Pizza right on Main Street has a nifty chicken parm sub and killer garlic rolls. I recommend it.
