I'm not hinting at superstitions especially when I don't believe in them period! I'm stating my opinion about them. It doesn't matter what you wear its how you play the game. What I said was I don't want VT to be one of those teams that puts so much into what they wear over how they play. I could careless what colors they wear. I'm a fan of the game that's played on the field not of fashion. I agree with Vtae13 I'm not coming at you in a disrepectful way, but to be honest I'm more worried about if our players are going to hold up in this game the way we've been injured lately.

Game is close through the 3rd quarter. Bama pulls away in an ugly way in the 4th.

37-17 Bama

We just have to stay healthy for the entire season. If anybody else goes down, we'll be watching third-teamers or scout team out there.

Anything can happen!

Hey, it could happen..

If we win this game, we will win the national championship. LOL. #sure

We're playing TEMPLE?! FINALLY. 15 YEARS LATER. VENGEANCE for '98.

PS. I know we've played and beaten them since, but true vengeance is blowing them out for the rest of forever. After politely asking Mr. Huxtable to avert his eyes.

I'm not sure they would have left so early. Bowl games are different, where they get extra practices on-site. I would think they would head out mid-day today since the trip is only a few hours by bus.

Must be the same kids psyched to throw some paper airplanes. Someone shoot him a link over here to TKP.

I believe we are going to win this game.

There's no way we're the Grinch. The Grinch steals Christmas. We give the Hoos a Christmas with their family and remove the burden of paying for hotels, flights, and tickets for a bowl game.

Every year I watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" with my kids and I tell them the story is based on the Hokies coming down from the mountains every year and ruining Christmas plans for all the 'Hoos in Hooville. Last year it was Exum (and Logan) pulling the sleigh.

and when a man gets hungry he goes after what he wants to eat" -Derrick Hopkins

Fantastic quote about defense last season.

Let him play both both sides, FB/LB and occasionally QB just for the hell of it. This is not some normal kid we are talking about, it is Sam Drago Freakin Rogers, who was created in a top-secret lab under Lane Stadium and has a timer that currently reads 30 hours and 44 minutes..to...MAYHEM.

I seem to recall some talk a few years back where someone on the Stanford staff, talking about Owen Marecic, said that they were comfortable letting him play both positions because the view of the field and approach to a play are very similar for those two positions. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I know little of the ins and out of actually scheming or playing football, but I'd love to see the kid play on both sides. Especially if he's our best option after an injury. Sam Rogers gets thrown into the fire. The fire concedes.
