I road-tripped to the '95 Sugar Bowl win over Texas, before I was even a student; I had that school pride while still at TCC.

My hurricane evacuation plans were based around the Thursday night kick-off when we hosted TA&M. My son said his first words that night during the intro, "I'm gonna get it". Obviously he was inspired as well.

But the one I missed seeing was the '99 win over WVa when Vick drove down the field and got them into the NC game. My local broadcast cut away from the game in the middle of the 4th quarter, and I was afraid I'd miss it if I drove to a local pub (like that was possible in my condition.) I called my buddy in Blacksburg and got a play-by-play for the rest of the 4th quarter. So glad he answered his phone!

The same buddy missed the second half of the Miami win in 2011 driving his cousin to the ER. His cousin cut his finger off while making homemade beer during the game. Should've called me, I could have helped...

Have to agree, aside from the large VT on the chest, I like them. We've definity looked better, It stinks that I have to say this, but at least there aren't orange pieces of turd on the side of the helmet.

Why are the pants silver-ish/reflective and the jersey's are not? Also, the shoulders have wayy too much air under them to be a modern jersey. The jerseys nowadays are extremely tight everywhere on the body. This jersey looks like one from the late 90s/early 2000s.

I'd hope it's a fake...

Oh also another HUGE giveaway. That's the haircut/facial hair rocked as an underclassman. He doesn't even look like that anymore.

The more I look at this, the more I think it isn't real. Besides, if this were real, it looks like a pretty official photo and I don't think VT would allow something like this to leak before they could say something.

When I first saw the Boise jersies it was from a picture someobody looked like they took with a camera phone.

I'm pretty convinced that photo is fake.

1. The resolution is not good. A professionally taken photo would not look like that. A photo that was uploaded into photoshop and then copy / pasted out could.
2. Those pants can not be real for a variety of reasons - the shine and the stitching most notably. Nike would not do that.
3. Look at how crisp and professional the WVU shot is a few comments above.

Helmet also looks wrong. The image we have of the helmet has that sort of sparkly, metal-flake effect in it. Maybe this image is too low-res, but it seems that's missing. I would also think that the right edge of the American flag should be visible from the angle Gayle is holding it.

Maybe this is also an image quality issue, but it also seems to me that Gayle isn't casting a shadow, which is usually a dead giveaway for a 'shop job. Could be lighting that messes with that, though, so not necessarily definitive.

Dang I wish I could have found this onesie for my Niece. She has one of those footballs though. Your little Hokie is too precious! :)

They are just ok. Not great, not terrible. I wish they would put some Hokie Stone detail on them or something. I would rather us wear all maroon or white than these particular gray uniforms though. Reminds me too much of West Virginia's gray ones...and eff WVU
eff WV

Well said. There is no way these uniforms could come from the same company. Especially for a marquee game...Nike would be doing themselves a complete disservice in their quest for world domination.
