I must say, those things were pretty damn cool, especially given the kinds of engineers good ol' VPI&SU produces... I just hate that we always seem to lose in some of our coolest uni's.

Also, upon further review, grey uniforms could be pretty nice...

I for one loved the black unis (I own one of the replicas) so I'm not going to comment on it till they come out. However I am a little nervous given there was no marketing campaign from Nike as there was in 2010.

Funny...

The original poster of the comments regarding grey uniforms (who said they have a family member associated with the day-to-day operations of the VT football program) on the Instagram page has since deleted all of their posts on the subject. A little bit of quick cross referencing found that said poster (I won't post names for privacy's sake) does indeed have a relative in the athletics department who could, theoretically, have access to that information.

Couple this info with the radio silence out of the VT football equipment twitter feed (normally and up to that point very active) and I think that something big is in the works for uni's. I could definitely be wrong (and I don't think I would mind if I am), but I'm inclined to believe that grey uni's are on the way for Bama... Like it or not.
