# | NOVA Hokies (and western-VA Hokies) driving down for #BEATBAMA, I-81 south is going to be A MESS very soon I think I've decided to go 95 to 20. I've heard that traffic is generally light on 20. Mapquest says its about an hour longer than 81/85 but I think it will be worth it.

Vandy-- This is Wake Forest and UNC wrapped in SEC tinfoil. Ole Miss wins, by 3.
Virginia Tech-- 31-17 looks a lot worse than the two TD spread. I'll take the points.
Gerorgia-- There will be more defense here than most expect. The game may only break the 40s. Geargia by 7 with a more experienced D.
LSU-- All Day. There is much hope for TCU to dazzle. Nope.
Boise St-- UDub has a lake people tailgate in that is within close proximity to the campus. That's the most fun you'll see there.

It would probably also lead to a drunken 6 day binge which ends with SWAT coming into my house and disrespecting my family as they would have tracked me down after 3 days of chasing me throughout the entire east coast, and hundreds of miles, because I would have violently took the head off of the Saban statue at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and replaced it with a mold of AJ McCarron crying that I would craftily engineer Wed. night after attending said event.

See the latest Clemson game for a perfect example. We run up the middle and throw in a few medium/deep passes to keep the safeties honest: we drive right down the field. We run wide (especially with LT3 on a QB sweep on 3rd and 5. Seriously, O'CainSpring? Really?), trick plays, reverses/sweeps that lose 10 yards and bam, we're losing. Every single time we deviated from the plan of running downhill with playaction/deep passes, the game went to crap. *headdesk*

Yeah... I think it's just the sheer size of the scoreboard that really has just trumped the lettering. After looking at the first bit put up, the HOKIES part will be larger, but nothing in comparison to how the old scoreboard looked. The new board is just that big...
I like the attitude they're bringing to the game. Let's get on it.
