I am with you. Getting an advantage on the left side of the OL will be a tall task
So long as it's not the Hokie tracks or the horrendously unbalanced Hokie Bird/# helmet we saw, I'm ok with it.

Huge "HOKIES"? The rendering had everything the same size, but apparently that's not the case.
I'd rather VT have an actual homefield advantage than play another game in that soulless hellhole.
HaHa, brain fart ... showing my age. John, Jimmy, Jeff, whatever, lol.
Jeff Grimes.
+1ed you anyway... Really creative!
as evidenced by bitter, the letters are very underwhelming in size. I am curious to see what takes up the back, it won't be just lettering.

I dont think anybodys really intimidated, linebacker Jack Tyler said. Footballs football. I think everybodys here for a reason. They wanted to play primetime college football. And thats what this games going to be. And everyones excited for it. I dont think I see intimidation in anyones eyes. I think I see a dog thats ready to pounce and to win a game.
I'd be down most nights.
Haha sorry to bring you down like that. I did the same thing, went through old pics.
ugh, I had trash talking clemson fans behind us. I was confused as to 1) why they were there 2) why they were trash talking so much when they didnt even have a team involved. Anyways, they claimed their 6-6 team still would have steam rolled us if we had played and skulked out at half time spewing their last bits of insults as they walked down the stairs to exit. I smiled as Tyrod completed another 3rd down conversion.
What a great day/night. So much trash talking going around us and when they finally realized they were losing FSU fans shut up.
Cold, wet, and icy though.

Fond memories of that game, was the first Virginia Tech football game I ever attended!
If only driving 8-10 hours each way from Orlando wasn't such a hassle.
Agreed. FedEx games are bad news on every level.
ACC Rout of SEC Shocks Nation in Week 1 - Hokies Roll #1 Tide
Sep 31, 2013 - GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Pre-season polls crumble for the inaugural College Football Playoff season as three ACC teams defeat three SEC powerhouses during opening week. The previously one-sided teams all found their missing links, with UNC and Clemson playing stout defense while the Hokies new offense clicked loudly.....
The biggest shocker was the Virginia Tech - Alabama game. The Crimson Tide, BCS champions for the past two years, were heavily favored with a 19.5 point spread, but the Hokies covered that and more! Bud Foster's always stout defense didn't disappoint, with frequent blitzes that rattled AJ McCarrion, forcing two unexpected turnovers by the veteran quarterback. The resulting field position made easy work for Tech's passing game, as newbie receivers overcame their the drop-prone pre-season habits with solid catches in the end zone.
Likewise, the Hokie offensive line held their own against Bama's veteran D-line, and the constant line-up juggling during practice by coach Jerry Grimes appears to have paid off, with redshirt Freshman running back Trey Edmunds taking advantage of the narrow running lanes they opened. Edmunds finished with 98 yards rushing and a touchdown of his own, answering any questions about VT's backfield this year. Final score, 24-21 Hokies.
In other headline games, Vandy outpaces Ole Miss and Boise State squeaks past Washington.

well the size of the lettering is a little underwhelming
Well that's just inappropriate, #Hokies. pic.twitter.com/C2vgX6VM2K— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) August 27, 2013
I tried to put in words how much I hate this idea, but I just couldn't think about it without a headache.

Pretty much any week but this one I'm good. I've just got the two morning classes on Tuesdays.
