This was a great write up this was exactly what I was trying to say in a earlier post, but you hit the nail on the head. I noticed that Alabama doesn't always use that base 3-4 I noticed that they've changed it up a bit last year in some of those games by going a 3-4. When they did go to there Nickel base I noticed that brought in Geno Smith a lot and took out Sunseri. But this will come down to play execution and 3rd down conversions. Our defense will give us a chance.
Bud's got to switch those guys out for a breather, because Bama is going to try and wear us down like they did last time we played. If you look at the highlights of that game you'll notice our defensive player's body language was of them bending over and they looked tired from how they started the game full of energy.
The bottom line is somehow they got to keep that energy and emotions up during this entire game especially in the 3rd and 4th quarter. But at the end of the day its only just the first game of the season even though its getting a lot of attention by the fans. This isn't a one-game season and I hope that all of the Hokie fans stay this pumped up about the entire season including the game against Western Carolina.
