"Wait, who are they saying is back??? Oh..." - Heather Dinich
YES! Didn't hurt that Davis scored on the return.
The surgery tid-bit is probably tied into his weight loss last summer.

I approve this message. - A redskins fan in Louisiana
I hate to do this but I keep thinking about the 2012 Redskins. Showed absolutely nothing in Preseason, RG3 looked under utilized, then Week 1 against New Orleans: BOOM, new game changing offense that was completely out of left field. Hoping that is what happens.
I can't remember which defensive player it was but after beating them at Kyle Field he took a chunk of grass from the endzone and when they interviewed him he said "you know, the place they never touched". Still love thinking about that.
I've called him Beej (beejuh? Beeg? beeguh? not sure how to type how I pronounce it) before and I've seen some names that are written very differently than how they are pronounced. My main point is that it may not stand for anything.
I guess that's kind of a back-handed compliment....
I would like to petition that for the next week and a half the new screen should loop our 1998 beatdown of #$ecbama.
Also, would accept a 24/7 loop of "38-0" and/or ML crying.
Recruiting a few highly rated recruits each year alone will not make you an elite team. UVA's problem under Mike London has been their inability to properly evaluate talent across the board. If you follow their offer list, the 2 and 3-star guys we refer to as the "diamond in the rough" type guys are typically offered shortly after the Hokies offer them. They are able to identify the highly rated guys - specifically the in-state players - because everyone in America is aware of their potential (though it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Officer London and his cronies assistants - sit in a room giggling like school girls when they think they're outsmarting everyone).
One of their many shortcomings to date has been their lack of depth and hidden talent within their classes. To your point, not only have they struggled to foster the identifiable talent they've brought to Charlottesville, but they haven't been able to bring in or develop any of the potential mid-level recruits they've managed to sign either.
I like that Loeffler is all Lloyd Carr/Bill Belichick with the highlights being taken down....that being said, I'd have loved to see them....oh well.
Encouraging reports, but once again, it's practice. Reference StinyFTL's gif above.
Dadi on offense...verrrrry inteeresting....possible 2-pt conversion play for later, maybe?
A turkey leg for the Sun Tzu reference!
This is nice, but all that really matters is what happens on Game Day.
I like it. You can almost always find success where talent and hard work intersect.
Here's the entire 1986 Peach Bowl. Go to 2:14:00 to see the Hokies' final drive and Chris Kinzer's subsequent game-winning field goal. If you look closely, you can see Kinzer give the middle finger to the NC State sideline after his field goal, lol:

Sun Tzu said (paraphrased) never attack the way your enemy expects you to attack, and never defend the way your enemy expects you to defend.
Bud Foster has made a living with disguised robber packages. I'm loving all the cloak and dagger with the offense!
#BEATBAMA!!!
WAIT! The Math Emporium is still a thing??? Dude I remember that from freshmen year 1997 and thought it would never last...hated that place so very very much....
Lol. What. The. Hell.
Keeping it close to our sleeve, SEC style. Lots of weird never before seen coach speak, then we are all hush hush over this.
Put your big boy pants on. Things are about to get crazy.
