Man, our backfield was sensational that year. FBs too.
Typing works well for a lot of classes. Unfortunately I was a Biochem major, so everything I took had a lot of chemical structures involved. I also started school with a desktop computer (no laptop requirement at the time).

I would always type my notes, so much faster, except for classes with all the formulas with odd symbols. The one use for having an engineering tablet and OneNote...
Who bitches about Bookholders? Most people I knew thought it was awesome.
Also, RE: parking, if you don't buy a pass you should sign up for the Bike, Bus, & Walk program. 15 daily passes for $15, can't really beat that, and it helps if you need to save 10 minutes or so for a test.
I will agree about the carpool pass though, if you need a pass find a friend who isn't getting one. Works wonderfully.

Agree 100%. I was on duty one night when some dumbass jumped out of his window in Lee. Broke his leg and pelvis and had to leave school. All because his roommate bet him 2 shitty dollars and a 6 pack of Beast that he wouldn't do it. Go have fun but let others be the idiot. And for god's sake, put a helmet on your soldier.

I've always gotten the impression that HokieSports folks and people who write sports articles for the CT (and really anyone not on the roster/coaching/training staff who is still involved in sports at VT), are pretty darn clueless when it comes to sports. So I'm not particularly shocked here.
