Just noticed your tag name. Me: Miles Hall #236 from fall 75-spring 77. We kicked ass in flag football (Miles Wasteland) and softball (Dyno-mite). One year in football, we had the heavyweight and light heavyweight wrestler (Mark Miller from my West Springfield High, I believe), the shot put, and the hammer throw guys on our O line. The Termites, consisting of 5th year football players that had used up their eligibility but were still on campus, were our nemesis. Lots of blood out on the field.

Suspension is such a joke.. DUI and Coach Beams dismisses you from team. No wonder why all outsiders hate SEC.. they have different rules. DePriest punishment was no skittles and beer for 1 week.

Not sure about Blanding, but Im pretty sure Brown is friends with Mizzell so Im sure he has seen UVA play, or will soon. That said, Im betting MLondon annoying Mizzell is the only way Brown would decommit.

Good find. I really enjoyed listening.

Having listened to both the Logan and Beamer interviews, I have to say how proud I am to have them both as representatives of our university. The way they went onto an opposing camp's local media and behaved with humility, intelligence, and downright CLASS represents everything I love about being a Hokie. Even though they were baited with a lot of Bama/SEC superiority rhetoric, they acquiesced where appropriate... but I also know they will fight like Hell come August 31 regardless. THAT'S Hokie football. Not the "Best" but among the most resilient programs in all of college football. I've yet to see our team fully quit from a season (exception: Marcus Davis).

Don't know how much I'd be willing to make that statement with Lane Kiffin as my HC or Johnny Manziel as my QB... Wouldn't change my school, its priorities, or its conference for the world.

Depending on the packages we start with, it's looking like 2-4 true freshmen starting. Jonathan McLaughlin and Kendal Fuller most likely starting, Brandon Facyson and Sam Rogers could also start depending on the packages we use on our first offensive and defensive series. I think Trey Edmunds is the only R-Freshman in the running to start, but the coaches could also go with JC Coleman since it's looking like he'll be back in time.

I think if London is fired, Brown is gone as good. Possibly Blanding too. If I were the coaching staff I wouldn't stop recruiting these guys until NSD.
