I graduated from Hampton in 2007 (same year as Tyrod), and try to make games when I can. It has gotten a bit more difficult since I graduated from Tech and got a real job, but I might be able to catch a Saturday game on a week where the Hokies aren't playing in Lane if one exists.
Don't know if they have any specific players worth looking at right now though.
well, I think you are forgetting that our previous QB coach did more harm than good in trying to help Logan's mechanics. The point about lineman falling into him is clear. Also save for Corey Fuller our receivers were really terrible last year. Marcus Davis was abysmal and should have been benched at start of season.
You have the right to your opinion but there were too many contributing factors to why his job was so tough last year. Especially when he was so good just the year before.
I like this. I have always heard Penn State is a lot similar to Tech. And we can strengthen or expand our PA recruiting territory
Is that on him or the coaching staff?
AND I also remember one of the media members asking fans for score predictions and this one kid said something like 65-0 and everyone laughed.... HA!
Yeah, Tech-Syracuse in 99 was the most dominant game that I have ever seen VT play against a top 25 team. I lost my voice during that game, Lane was LOUD that night... wow, that almost seems like yesterday. But that game probably wouldn't have been quite that high scoring if that SU punter hadn't dropped two snaps. None the less, Tech's defense that game was magnificent.
I did. I 100% went there.
I am a fan! This is my new computer background! #BEATBAMA
Yeah I said Before last season. 2011 he was money.
im just trying to be honest with fellow hokies, I personally don't think Logan Thomas is a good qb, say what you want if you have flawed mechanics and cant correct them in 4 years qb just isn't your position
It becomes quite difficult to throw off your front foot when you have a lineman falling into you. It also becomes difficult to sell a play fake when the RB goes to the wrong side of the ball (I'm assuming it's the RBs fault and not Logan's). Regardless, Logan is QB1 and Leal is a solid backup. Go back and watch Logan during 2011 and tell me he's not talented.
i beg to differ on this, idk if they see talent they see prototypical nfl size. if you watched logan last year he made too many mistakes just flat out throwing into ridiculous coverage and continuously throwing off his back foot, how can he not correct that in 4 years? I was a high school qb so I know that fundamentally if your not stepping into the throws you don't have the accuracy or power
Oh lawd....you had to go there didn't you vtfly
more people will break ankles jumping off the bandwagon then "Boise State fans" in parentheses because they cant spot any fans now
I'm not sure about in PA but I'm pretty sure bestiality is against the law
1000 turkey leg club for Box!
He probably thought he could juice with it
Not ironic at all...Greg Boone was a HS QB before moving to TE at VT.
He was playing hurt most of last season. Should've been benched in favor of someone with 2 healthly legs, but that's on the coaches.
Hot damn! I'm in! This mare has never been to PA before.
Luckily the Center rarely pulls.
I hope he gets healthy and remains healthy, but that's a big IF. However, I do think he can be a starting running back in this league.

Never would've guessed you thought that about him.
