Leal has an advantage having been at VT longer, but him knowing the system better isn't necessarily a given, considering we have a new coordinator. He only has a semester advantage on Bucky when it comes to working under Loeffler.
Terrible coaching is an understatement, based on what Duane Brown has said about his time at VT
FWIW, I think Beamer has given Loeffler full control of the QB situation. So, I think it really depends who is the most Loeffler-prepared QB. Could be Leal, could be Bucky, could be Ford (I think he enrolls early).
I always forget that the other team sometimes has fans in Lane!

This is great news. I'm pretty excited about this matchup especially because my of my good friends goes to PSU. Although 9 years is quite a ways from now it should still be a fun series.

In terms of a game being important the entire time, or in other words, the starters are still out there for the final drives, I've come up this list:
2010 ACCCG- putting FSU in their place never felt so good.
2003 Miami Game- see above (insert the U)
2002 LSU Game- domination of a Saban-lead team
2004- WVU Game- again, see above (insert the kissin cousins)
2007 ACCCG- showing Matty Ice how lucky he got earlier that year in Blacksburg. I know the offense struggled at first, but the defense and special teams were stellar. Held Ryan to no TDs and 2 INTs while everyone's favorite, TO Glennon, threw for an un-Glennon-like 3TDs. I had to double check that last stat.
What about Sam DRAGO Rodgers?

The kid did it all in high school and played multiple sports.
Understand what your saying but a lot of your frustration could be contributed to absolutely terrible coaching. Moving Wang to center is a great move by a great coach. He's a smart, heady player that needs to be in a position where he can use his shorter frame to greater advantage.
I know French will have strong thoughts on this matchup. My opinion, this was long overdue because for whatever reason this couldn't get done when Paterno was alive. VT is making more of an effort to recruit PA, and PSU made a living recruiting VA before Beamer Co. got things rolling.
Plus, he can truck DBs.
