The day that UVA hires Nick Saban or Urban Meyer is the day that I fear them. Until then, I don't give a crap who they have playing quarterback.

They were hardly a "band"...just three brothers messing around. Correct me if I am wrong but I heard the Hansons were in the craft beer brewing business now.

shockingly I have a good friend who is a guitarist in a pretty lame but popular band...but he is a really good dude and has toured with a lot of different people and he said the Hanson brothers were the most down to earth guys he met and that they were very talented musically when they jammed together....Nickelback definitely takes the cake here they are offensively bad

I actually think we could have won that game had we known what kind of player we had in Ryan Williams. He only had 13 carries and averaged over 6 ypc with 2 TDs. Give the man the rock and let him give our defense a break. But oh well, too late now.

What's going on with Mark Irick? I was really excited when we signed him, he's big and athletic. Not to mention related to former Gamecock Alshon Jeffery.

1) I can't wait to see Yeldon and Duke Johnson play this year. Best RBs in the country, and both true sophomores, I believe.

2) Saban's 4th quarter conditioning program lives up to its billing. We played a very competitive game against Alabama back in 2009, but, as you said, we got worn down. This is the strategy they use. And it works. Our lack of depth in some positions will kill us.

* See VT vs BAMA 2009.* That's how we lost the game in the 4th qtr. Mark Ingram and that O-line did a number on us. We simply got out athlete'd after playing our nuts off for 3 qtrs. It does seem like last year though Yeldon had a case of the fumbles...maybe he still has them!

Really good post, I enjoyed the read. But I will say that I thought Carlis Parker's hands are a little shaky. Saw a few drops.

Seeing this makes me remember how much free time I had in college. Now I'm lucky if I can take a piss without a kid trying to breach the door.

The conversation brought this to mind...

Yeah we used to play every Friday. It was so serious that a lot of folks came one week and never came back. Those games caused a few broken bones (my ankle included) and bloody noses but were always fun. I used to look forward to those games the whole week #Imisscollege
