Then there's the fake HD feed:

It is difficult to judge an entire fan base because of limited experiences. My worst experience was with Uga fans. I was at a bar watching them play us in the bowl game. They were in your face obnoxious, especially in the second half, and that was the women! It was personal and all about how they were so much better than you because their team just scored a touchdown or made a play. It wasn't about cheering for their team. It was about putting you down. Don't know about the rest of the fan base but that crew really sucked.

"In my mind, Im just doing stuff thats going to make me a better football player and help this team, Rogers said. "I can care less about individual accolades. I just know what I can do on the field to help this team win."

How can you NOT love this kid. You need these kinds of players to win championships.

He was never "Pig Committed."

(In case anyone isn't familiar with that saying, I like to tell the background. The chicken is committed to breakfast in as much as she gives her eggs. The pig, he's committed to breakfast. The perception is that Donaldven Manning was only chicken-committed to our program, not pig committed.)

Nothing can compare to the bone-shaking power of the B-52 that flew over in 2004 against Western Michigan especially with that trademark scream the engines make! I was on the field with the HT's and got to watch it in the reflection of the sousaphone that was in front of me. It's not the prettiest or fastest but it'll pound your pathetic country into rubble.

Second to this is anything that has to do with the A-10. I wish they could to a couple bursts with blanks as they go by to show off the gatling gun!

I don't think you're judging people who are actually alumni at some of those schools. Miami and FSU have two very large bandwagon groups who tend to be some of the worst fans. They aren't alumni, but they became "fans" during the golden years of those programs. I would imagine the same goes for WVU and many of their fans. There are many that couldn't even get into WVU except on gameday to throw batteries at people.

All students are pretty much idiots (even ours), so you have to judge the fan base on their alumni.

The best by far are Texas A&M and Nebraska...not even close. Clemson alumni are also good people and very hospitable...they just suffer from an irrational exuberance and overvalue their education, but best in the ACC for sure.

The worst? It is hard to pick from the trashy, classless WVU and Miami....or the obnoxiously oblivious and pretentious Tarholes....or the redneck douches of FSU (especially their women).....can't stand any of those people.

It's only fair to judge fans when they are both at their most trying times. Therefore the stress test.

Hint: only one has his dignity intact

I like his comment about Bama's graduation rate. Its an interesting perspective on recruiting to say the least. I know that here at TKP we get frustrated at kids because they decide they want to go to school somewhere other than the school that we all love, and question how that is possible. But it goes to show you that every program deals with the same thing, even when you win back to back NCs

I heard that DONALDVAN MANNING is transferring from VT. Supposively he got buried in the Depth chart. any thoughts on this? considering he was a 4-Star on rivals who we stole from a Miami high school.

I would tell her that I can take that from a lot of people, but not from anyone associated with Rutgers.

Talk about irrelevant.

I have to respectfullly disagree with the Clemson fans being nice. I went down to Clemson in 2011 with two of my roommates because one of them had a gf who went to CU. The Friday we got there, we went out to eat at this Mexican restaurant and on our way in, I was holding the door for an elderly (and I mean elderly, at least 70+) couple. The couple was decked out in CU gear. The man fell into me, while I was holding the door for him, and said "Move asshole", when I had done nothing wrong. The next day, we went to the Clemson vs Wake Forest game as neutral fans. We were sitting amongst a group of students and one drunk student fell off his bleacher and collapsed on top of my roommate. Typically wouldn't be a big problem as this happens in crowded stadiums except the student stood up, saw that my roommate was of Middle-eastern desent and said "Get out of here you Taliban POS". I wanted to introduce this student's face to my fist but I had promised my roommates (and my parents) that I would not get into any trouble and get arrested. I realize that I could have just experienced 2 very severe cases of being completely rude and out of line people but you can understand my hatred for Clemson and the Clemson fan base.

It's not that I can't go in large crowds at all, I just prefer not to when I don't have to. When I'm in them I just feel uneasy and can't really enjoy myself for the first hour or 2. I don't know if it's hyper alertness or hyper paranoid...probably both. But that's the only thing that I've noticed about me that's different. I plan on going to a Thursday night game in Lane one day (If we have anymore) The crowd at Lane and the surrounding area is also alot different than downtown ATL as well. I live an hour and a half away from there and the last game I went to a game in the dome was the 2006 Peach bowl against UGA. Found some great parking down a side street within walking distance so I grabbed it up. Not thinking that it would be later at night once we got out of there it was an interesting walk back to say the least. Tell your dad thank you for his service from me and Welcome Home! Kudos to him for finally seeking some help. My dad is a Vietnam vet as well and I couldn't imagine being treated the way those guys were treated once they got home. RLTW!

If i'm Bama, I don't know why i'd even bother spreading the field to give Kendall / our spread D a chance to play (other than on really long-down situations). With our whip injured, i'd just run power-football at them all-day and gain 5+ yards a pop all-day.

Other way of looking at it is to exploit our young CB's, but that's too risky perhaps with the talent that we have. I'd just pound it out against us if I were them.

There is always a fit for the athletes. Our coaching staff before would think, this guy looks like a WR and stick him there even if he wasn't a good fit there. The coaches now are moving guys around to see where they fit the offense better. Caleb, instead of being buried at WR because thats what they thought he would be, turns out he is a better RB than WR. By next season, he could be 6'2", 225 and a beast in the backfield. They aren't creating weapons, they have already been here, they just aren't taking the fuse from them and storing them on the shelf like before.

The thing that gets me about Virginia Tech football is we have never found ways to involve all of our weapons effectively. So many talented athletes have come to Virginia Tech and played their 4 (or 5) years without ever being used the way they should. If Loeffler is able to find ways to use our weapons on offense, we have a chance to beat Bama. For example, I think our tight ends can do massive damage against the Tide defense. We have 3 TEs who have shown they can catch the football consistently and 2 of them (Mccray and Perez-Means) have exceptional athletic ability for the position. I have watched a lot of film on Alabama and have seen that TEs can hurt them. Notre Dame did not use Eiffert the correct way, they lined him up outside when he should have been lined up on the line against a LB. I'm not saying our TEs will gain 20 yards a catch, but short consistent chunks of yardage, which will then in turn open up more holes in the running game. Also, we have to find a way to get JC Coleman the ball in space. He has the speed and can make people miss on the perimeter. He doesn't have to be Tavon Austin, but at least be a threat on the field.
