I agree there's a lot of stuff i didn't touch over like I should have. But I'm not denying it my pussy that scoring touchdowns weren't important or necessary to win games.

My point is that there are bandwagoners everywhere. Didn't mean to generalize everyone in one category.

I think Fairchild is hysterically funny when he said that Watford has played in a game, to which I told Mike Barber, "Surely, Fairchild knows that starting in a pee-wee football game don't count."

just because someone isnt an alum doesnt mean there's no connection. you guys wonder how bama, ohio state, florida, texas, usc, etc have the resources and donor support that keeps them next level and the 5 stars rolling in? because they have a ton of people who for whatever reason hooked their wagons to those schools and finance the program. fanbases run the gamut from high roller boosters to folks cooking burgers and drinking cheap beer in the public lots. you shouldnt look down your noses at people who wanna root for their hometown or home state team just because they didnt go college or went to a smaller school that didnt have bigtime football.

and anyways, a hoo brings up warrick dunn means theyre not an alum? hows that?

I'm surprised he made this decision nearly three weeks out of their first game.

You have to think London has to stick with one guy this year and give him a fair chance. UVA fans have to be getting tired of the back and forth game going on here. They want a starting QB that will be around for more than one whole season, not a few games or every other drive.

The one thought that came to mind while reading this was how many times players have stepped up huge for us when we've had doubts in positions.

How many times did a RB step up when we thought we lost half our offense (Darren Evans, Ru, Wilson). We need that this year. One of the backs needs to claim that top spot and or WRs need to step up for us big time.

Logan needs someone to trust, he can't do it on his own and he proved that last year unfortunately (I'm not criticizing too much, hardly anyone can carry an offense alone). Defensively I'm not worried about us, we'll hold our own against anyone there I believe, but our skill positions on the offensive side need to prove something.

This is a great point. These "fans" have not attachment at all to these schools. They also don't care how they represent an institution that they don't really belong too. They're no better than trolls and to me aren't a true judge of the fan base.

Let's face it, every school that has been successful has these guys. We have them for sure, hell even UVA has them. Anytime you hear some UVA fan bring up their win against FSU in the 90's, you can probably bet they're not an alum. Same goes for any Miami fan who brings up their team from the 80's or is wearing one of those awful Starter wind-breakers.

NC State fans seem to make being butt hurt and vitriolic towards everyone an Olympic sport

That concept was virtually what this site was founded upon. The website header even used to be "David Wilson eats Chik-Fil-a on Sundays"

This site went nuts when DW actually posted a picture of him at CFA on a Sunday.

I'm with you on the PCBC, but I'm going try and stock up on Marzen this fall and make it my regular football beer.

on the liquor side, the options range from Wild Turkey, to Wild Turkey 101, to Wild Turkey Rare Breed. With the occasional Evan(s) Williams.

With the inexperience at RB & WR, I can certainly see Beamer & Moorehead on the sideline to correct mistakes. Stinespring has the luxury of some experienced guys at TE and other coaches who can speak to the two elements of TE play (blocking - Grimes and recieving - Moorehead).

The downside to that is that Stinespring is a great motivator on the sidelines, but with Grimes & Beamer I think we might have that covered.

Because UCLA was so bad there was no chance they were going to win anyway. Gave them something to get on SportsCenter.

Oh yeah, and Tennessee. I grew up a Tennessee fan, but after the CFA Bowl game I don't know why. So rude, borderline delusional, and to this day, hearing Rocky Top evokes homicidal thoughts.
