Similar experience here, lived on the 2nd floor EAJ (which is the entry floor facing towards D2), and each weekend was an experience.
Giggety. I'm pretty sure the coaches have been planning to use him as a PR since they started recruiting him. He looked pretty good as a return man in his highlights too.
rough comparison
Edit: refer to pajokie's below
The dorms that I lived in at LU had community bathrooms, but we had a sink in the bedrooms. One time when I was sick and resting in bed, I suddenly had to vommit and the sink was the first reasonable place to come into my line of sight. Just barely made it there, definitely didn't have time to go out, down the hall, into the bathroom, and find an empty stall.
Always want ACC to do well especially in the bowl games. Sorry I loved it when Clemson beat LSU.
Lived in AJ and was on the first floor. My room was 2 doors from the entrance. Could pretty much walk right out and go to West End. Around 2:00 every night on the weekend I usually had my door open to watch the shiii-show that walked in since it was the easiest entrance to go into. Girls would just waltz into my room all the time asking me what I was doing. They really dgaf and would even come into the bathroom at times while I was in there. It was always my entertainment when I didnt have the opportunity to go out. Sigh I miss it so....
I was just thinking of adding this clip to the conversation as well. Just try to argue with Louis... it can't be done.
Take who recruited him with a grain of salt. Richmond is Shane's area.
i imagine because they probably do not want people to know and the sound of the showers covers it up a little bit more
Percy Harvin was 5'11" 192lbs at Florida. Caleb is 6'2", 205lbs currently.
Remember, Caleb was recruited by Shane Beamer, the running back coach.
I am sure they have some plans for him. I would rather take a shot with Caleb than Tony Gregory.
I share your sentiments. I go with choice "A) Yes - It's good for the ACC's overall reputation to win high profile out of conference games. #goACC". It looks better when we beat them. Exceptions are LOLUVA for in state supremacy/recruiting reasons and ND for skirting around the system in a half conference half independent situation (and acting like their shit don't stink).
Agreed. See: Coles, D.J. 2012.
I wouldn't go to Buffalo Wild Wings that place gets a little sketchy at night, someone got stabbed there last year. Wild Wing Cafe is probably the best place to watch a sports game in Cville - had an unbelievable time during nfl championship game weekend there.
I always root for the conference. Even UVA...the 38-0 bro win was much more satisfying than beating their usual 7-5 squad.
It's simple: the better the conference looks, the better we look.
I've been a few times and it doesn't seem to be a place where a lot of students go. To me, it seemed like mostly townies who were either fans of VT or a handful of other teams.
don't watch at work...
LOLUVA and UMD are the only schools I actively root against. The first is obvious, the latter is because I'm from Maryland and have had the displeasure of going to Maryland games. The fans that are there are straight douchebags. They think home field advantage means mock the other team over rooting for their own (but they don't really have much to root for). Plus, my brother went there and for some reason thinks they'll win 8 games this year.
i'm usually a #goacc guy but i learned something when uva played auburn. i went into that game saying, "ok i'll pull for uva, good for the conference and football in the commonwealth in general." then i saw a shot of hoo frat boys with their shirts and ties and white hats that look all worn but you know they bought them that way and i was like, "fuck that shit, war eagle!"
so yeah typically will root for acc, but not uva.
Pro-ACC for everyone except LOLUVA. they can lose every single game they play. and i hope that "partial member" notre dame loses every game they play

I am coming in on the evening of August 30th and leaving on September 1st.
I did see Wild Wing Cafe when I was google searching...but here is what they say on the website:
THE HOME OF UVA ATHLETICS & CHARLOTTESVILLE'S #1 SPORTS BAR!
I suppose I could go there for the UVA game and root against them, get a good table and be primed for the big game at 5:30.
I don't mind sitting in a pro-UVA crowd...it would probably be pretty good comedy.
Scott Stadium

I just punched my boss in the face...
