I don't like the shoulder stripes either.
What we wear right now for most games. The should stripes and the stripe down the leg are considered "LSU style."

I don't particularly like these types of shoulder stripes, but at the same time I don't hate them. I don't like the helmet stripes at all though, the white stripes are much too thick.
At least initially the run game has a chance to be better since no one has seen it on film. No one can be 100% sure what it will look like. There will be a learning curve which hopefully will be overcome by the opener.
the only reason why i dont overly like the striped sleeve is because they are synonymous with LSU, and even Ole Miss has those. I'd rather we have our own style, which would be the '03. I do like the white helmet with VT on it. I like that matte maroon helmet with the old school gobbler on it too.

They'll keep attacking the critical spot over and over to tire him out or get him winded. Then they will start getting big plays. It will happen either at the point of attack or because someone else comes off their assignment to assist the point of attack. If Bama coaches are good enough they will pick up on defensive adjustments and counter them. I hope our new offensive coaches are that good. The previous ones seemed to fail at making second half adjustments.
Similar to what horse said above, TV viewing will be completely different in 10 years. Soon every network will have an app that you can purchase to stream television over internet. The way people view video segments is changing.
I see Apple TV-like products being the norm in 5-10 years. Everything over wifi, everything available for streaming whenever the footage is released. You still pay monthly for certain packages, but the cable box will be a thing of the past.

Better yet, build a wall of mixed brick and Hokie Stone where the Hokie Stone is in a VT similar to how Kroger would do their boxes of sodas/beer in the Burg during football season. One could even do this when building a BBQ pit...hmmm...ideas...
This times a million. Does anyone know if you can get Hokie Stone as an alumni? I've always been told/assumed you have to be building for the university to get one. I would pay a pretty penny for two pallets to build a retaining wall at my house.
A season like last year can also have the same effect. :-)

Thanks. Just was curious becasue looking at that South Carolina front 7 in that game they obviously controlled the line of scrimmage, and they did not have any more talent than tech does.
I agree, as well, I like our jerseys now more than the 03's, however if the numbers on the 03's could be changed and a few things tweaked, it would be my favorite. As it stands, the ones we have now are probably my favorite.
I can't claim to be an expert on South Carolina's D, but from what little I have watched, their front 4 plays much more like a one gap 4-3, where their ends and tackles are getting penetration and getting up field. VT slants much more often, which either leaves guys unblocked or keeps blockers off the linebackers.

A grey and maroon jersey (nike already has a jacket in this color way for us) would sell quicker than he black and white pro combat together.
