Virginia Tech's football marketing department is notoriously lame and unimaginative. This was the same "marketing research" that Weaver quoted for years about why we couldn't paint the end zones on the new field. It's the same marketing genius behind no Thursday night game. "Because lame-marketing-reason" is a meme with my alumni friends.
To be fair, Gayle was fairly unproductive during the first half of the season. It certainly seemed like Tyler and Taylor had the most sacks and TFL, even if the numbers don't reflect it. (Edit: Taylor lead the team with 5.5 sacks. Gayle was second with 5.0. Tyrell Wilson was 3rd with 4.5 sacks. Tyler lead the team with tackles for loss with 13.)
As the season progressed, Gayle was much better than Attaochu.

the thing is BC and FSU play on a maroon and gold theme, UVA, Clemson, Syracuse, Miami all have orange...but no one has maroon and orange. I don't mind having orange on our unies, but maroon has got to be the primary...none of this white vs. orange spring game crap. What are the shirts that sell the most? maroon and white ones...
Sounds like a bad evening for that offensive lineman. Especially since Gayle is feeling super motivated right now.

Taylor Martinez in the B1G Championship against Wisconsin was pretty good too. Besides return men, how many people can say they made the entire opposing team miss them? Also De'Anthony Thomas picking up the punt after the bounce and housing the return at 2:50
Yea, but what we'll be body-painting is very TKP.
Aside from Clowney's hit, the best moments for me had to be:
-Braxton Miller absolutely losing the guy @ 1:50
-Rutgers RB pulling the best spin move EVER @ 2:05
-Any play involving Ace Sanders from South Carolina
-The dude on Baylor who looks like he pulls his hamstring in the middle of the play and still runs 50 yards for a TD @ 5:30

I'm actually from Salem but my family moved to the NRV after I left college. Since I'm a big family girl I have made my home there as well. My sister lives in C-burg so I stop by a lot. I'd love to live in B-burg but WAYYY too expensive for just myself.

Correct - the maroon jersey should be standard. Wear it with white pants for day games. All maroon for big night games. I also like the look of maroon pants with white jerseys for away games. The all whites make us look like Texas on TV.
