I feel the same way. I've been disappointed in upperclassmen over the last few years. Get some kids in there that want to be in there yelling, not ones that are just there to bro out, throw paper airplanes and bro out some more.

Guys are going to these schools because they assume they will be the next big star of an SEC national championship team. Waterfall thingy is just an awkward bonus. #BEATBAMA #peeintheirpool

I was a freshman last year and I am not a fan of giving freshman season tickets. I felt like the lottery was a rite of passage and a way to pay your dues before being able to buy season tickets. I hope the freshman season tickets are at the top of the south end zone.

I have a feeling that all of these high caliber players that think they will be building something at UVA are really going to question themselves after another 4-8 season

I sat in the North my Sophomore year and then in the East my Junior year. IMO the East stands were more fun. I had a much better view of the game, more people were actually interested in the game, and last but not least, it was much easier to drink in the stands. I honestly hope I get seats in the East for my r-Junior year (5 year plan).

Correct. I have a buddy that gets lunch with him at least once a week. KJ still helps out with the football team in his spare time, but he doesn't really have any intentions of coming back to be a coach full time. The guy has a wife and kids which seems to be his first priority at this point.

So he might be playing at Hampton or Liberty on a few years. Oh well

Hogmolly: A large individual with a nasty streak whose sole focus is to maul the opposition. Generally found in the American game of football and coached by a Grimes, Jeff.

Those hogmollies will be the tip of the spear for the best offensive line in the ACC.

I may have made that last part (or the whole thing) up, but the linked definition from Horse....on a Treadmill was inaccurate for my taste.

Yep. Last time I checked, even with high caliber players the real university in Virginia is still making bitches put of bow ties

I don't think that would actually happen. As awesome as it would be for the 4 years, we have no idea how and when these guys will develop. Between RS and Medical RS some of these guys will be in at different times. Hell some of them may be at VT for the better part of a decade like Van Wilder or Tony Gregory.

Seriously though, hasn't Gregory been at VT for like 7 years? I swear he was recruited right after I graduated and always seems to still be around.

I think the best part is Grimes is getting guys he wants. Others will be recruited in the meantime and guys will get chances to start as they show that they're ready. All of them will be in Grimes' system and hopefully that means they will develop into tough, effective linemen.

Many think Minor will commit this weekend.

Jack is a 4* with no VT offer. Though that could change. Seems he is heavy on ND, but then that is top offer right now.

Come on guys what's better than playing a little "Area 51" with some of your football bros? After you've sufficiently pwnd the aliens why not stroll down to waterfall for a nice game of splash? Or maybe chicken? Sounds like a lovely little afternoon.

Come to think of it, this sounds like the UVA locker room.

VT has a game room full of Xboxes and what not. May not be an arcade, but IMO better. Don't have to get bored of the same games.

Waterfall is cool (especially for me being a designer), Not sure i would want a "grotto" type of environment with a bunch of football dudes though.

That would be great, but then what happens in 5 years, we start people with no snaps. It sounds great to have a group like that, but I'm hoping that we mix it up. Don't want to have a down year because all of our seniors graduated.

Just amped that Grimey is making changes and its evident.

After waiting 3 years to get into North last year, I was severely disappointed. All I saw was Greek life leaving early and paying no attention to the game. East student section in my opinion is far rowdier, livelier, and a better time unfortunately. Seems to me like a good time to try something new. North against UVA was pitiful and couldn't tell you how many UVA students were in there. Been going to every game since 99 season and I've never seen anything even approach that.
