Testing Procedure Spec.
I'm already planning on upgrading the servers before the season. Based on where I think the traffic is going to go when we bring on more writers, our current configuration won't handle the requests.
What are you talking about? It's already #BEATBAMA week!
Ahhh...Prather. I loved this dude! We got him to cancel class one day because we had to bail one of our classmates out of jail. It was a very small class (~12-15 people) and one of our friends had been arrested in an illegal poker sting. "Where's Mr Chu?" said Prather. We were like he is in jail. You heard about the gambling bust didn't you? He was like yeah, I heard about that and was like what are you doing here...you gotta go bail him out. Then he said he expected a presentation the next day we had class...CLASSIC!!
Wait .... are TPS reports a real thing?
So all indications point to Cornwell and Park announcing their commitment in June. So who goes where? I think if Park announces first, he would commit to us and then Cornwell would go to Bama. But if Cornwell announces first, I don't know who he might pick. I know Bama is the favorite, but we've stuck in there and it seems that Loeffler and the staff are really pushing to get him. Obviously we're only getting one of these guys and I wouldn't mind having either of them. It just would be nice to see a player choose us over Bama unlike Korren Kirven did...
I believe it was Vawter as the story was told to me by an RA from there. Could be wrong as this is a secondhand story though.
This just confirms my opinion that we're lucky to have great film analysts here at TKP...French is gold in my opinion! Hopefully, he doesn't get poached by a coaching staff somewhere.
The roof at Vawter? That's kind of steep, as I recall (I'm a former resident of said dorm). Not sure it was there. Perhaps at Owens nearby? It has a flat roof. Sounds like both of these stories included alcohol in some form or fashion.
And picked up by their cross-stadium rivals, the Jets:

The ACC should realign into the Hot Coeds and Average Coeds Divisions
For 2013:
Hot:
1) FSU
2) Miami
3) Clemson
4) VT
5) UNC
6) NCSU
7) Pitt
Average:
1) Duke
2) WF
3) UVA
4) GT
5) BC
6) UMD
7) CUSE
Haven't seen much of UL, so not sure where they'll fit in when they replace Maryland
hey, i've been meaning to talk to you about the tps reports. did you get that memo?
Well, the list has me commenting on it when I should be working on TPS Reports so I'm totally ok with it. I really want to win this year for many reasons, but mostly, I just want to beat Clemson in the ACC ship.
MSG would be great, but I wish they would steal the other thing the Big East tourney had: Saturday night finish. It has always been a great ending to Tourney Week to get two great BE teams in MSG on Saturday night. The Sunday finishes are bunched up before the tourney selection.
It really stinks that Louisville isn't in the ACC this year. Logan vs. Bridgewater would be amazing to see.
That being said, McCarron will drop a lot more once people actually dissect him. He reminds me a lot of Colt McCoy in the respect that McCoy had ability like McCarron, but he had more playmakers around him than he knew what to do with. Murray is the best QB in the SEC and that will show this year.
I talked to a few of the OL after their individual meetings with coach Grimes & what he told each one they needed to work on over the summer was exactly what "French" noted that each individual OL player needed to improve on, I was pretty impressed.
Love the play breakdowns. I think these articles really help the fans understand our team as whole, weakness' & strengths. When watching the games live or even on replay, it's hard to see any particular play as it develops, the breakdowns really help to understand it all. Great job!
Glad you like it!
I hope we (figuratively) stomp on Louisville in Football, every chance we get!
Even better than throwing a soda machine off the roof, there was a guy in Vawter I believe a few years back who got ahold of some of the fluorescent light bulbs that they use in the building from a maintenance room. He found a way up on the roof and started throwing them onto the ground acting like he was Zeus as they exploded. That's some quality entertainment.
Also, during the construction on East AJ, some people from West AJ got up on the roof because the construction workers forgot to lock the door back so they decided to have Margarita Monday up there.
It was only one. But once you've had one soda machine fall 4 floors, you don't exactly want a repeat performance.
I'm putting zero stock or interest in this list, considering Mel had Logan near the top of his Preseason Big Board at this time last year (with Marcus Davis checking in at 24, if I remember correctly). These prognostications are so fluid I find them utterly pointless until the season is over.
Exactly. Not to take anything away from Mariota though. He was very effective running Oregon's offense last year, but I don't see him has a top 5 QB.
As someone who played o-line in Pop Warner, and in high school, it comes with the territory. Most people only watch games live, and without the benefit of film some fans might not notice the QB holding onto the ball too long, an overloaded blitz (resulting in 2 guys blocking 3+) that should've forced a hot read / audible, tailback making the wrong read in pass pro, among others.
The writers (and many of the commenters) here make the effort to watch the film (multiple times), and try to explain what happened. We're not always right though. We understand zone blocking, have watched film of Grimes' and Loeffler's offenses at previous stops, but we don't know of any nuances that only a playbook would point out. Also, we don't have all-22 film, which is gold.
RE Mariota, even though his old OC is now the head coach, Kelly called the plays.

Gave a +1 mainly because there isn't a +1,000,000,000...
