# | Bitter blog - Trey Edmunds breaks out in scrimmage, although offense's day a little 'disappointing' Yup, right in front of me. I typically sit in the front row near the South end zone so I can have full view of the OL during warm-up.

# | Bitter blog - Trey Edmunds breaks out in scrimmage, although offense's day a little 'disappointing' Well during the scrimmage last weekend he was practicing field goals from the sidelines.
If I recall, Journell once kicked a 55-yarder in his high school game at Ripplemead, and that was what caught Beamer's ear. But, Journell, for some reason, struggle to connect when placed at past the 40-yards range. In fact, he missed two 40+ yards field goal attempts last Saturday in the scrimmage. In order to #BeatBama, he needs to be able to nail long-range field goal attempts, otherwise...
She was also in Party of Five on Fox back in the late 90s. She's often mistaken for Jennifer Love Hewitt (which is saying something), who was also her co-star in that show. Here she's parodying Jennifer's character from Can't Hardly Wait in Not Another Teen Movie (language is very crude but funny):
But unlike some of her peers, she does a good idea of avoiding scandals. As you can see, it's not at all difficult to really like her!
That goddamned pass interference call. I'm pretty sure that's the first time my dad ever heard me use a four letter word. And by my dad, I mean everyone within 100 feet. And by a four letter word, I mean the most lengthy string of expletives this side of a shipyard.
The fact he held his own against Bama was something else, too.
The whole wrist being down issue has always confused me. They call it so inconsistent that it's hard to know what the actual rule is. I always thought the rule was: if the wrist touches the ground and the palm is facing upward then the player is down but if the wrist touches with the palm to the ground then the player is still alive because it's essentially the hand touching the ground. I don't quite remember the D.Wilson play so I'm not sure if what I'm saying applies but your mention of his wrist got me thinking.
Interesting page I found when looking it up: http://www.illegalshift.com/2011/01/11/review-of-dj-williams-michael-dye...
I have a feeling our defensive secondary will be very dangerous this season.
Actually, the more I think about it the play I had the biggest problem with was when they blew David Wilson down when only his wrist had touched the ground. He would have had first down which would have essentially ended the game. Instead they called him down and then on the next play Danny Coale tried that fake punt.
Yeah, it was just a terrible throw and the reciever fell down, so the ref seemed to assume that Jayron had interfered. I think the Coale catch was more like a culmination of all the crappy calls all game though.
yeah we did Mac haha pictures are for tailgates and after victories are secured

# | Bitter blog - Trey Edmunds breaks out in scrimmage, although offense's day a little 'disappointing' I am very excited about Mitchell Ludwig too. I've seen him kick several times at Abingdon and he is FANTASTIC. He will definitely help out the program for many years to come.

He is an excellent punter. I think around 3:40 shows that he is smart in risky situations too.
The end of the video shows off some of his AMAZING field goal kicks.
Man I remember seeing that. Seeing him go like 80 yards on the first play and just thinking, "Who is that?!"
You know, Stiney was the one coach we didn't request this spring, just because tight ends are so low on the priority list and we only have so many opportunities to request guys. Just from watching the scrimmage, Stiney seems to hang back a little bit more. Maybe not as vocal in the team periods, which is understandable, since he's no longer the OC. But I don't sense that there's any problem there.
hey andy, first off we really appreciate all the hard work and you dropping by. the question i have is how would you say stiney is adjusting to his new role? do he and loeffler seem comfortable around one another? i know it must have been hard on his ego to take the demotion he did. i haven't heard a ton out of him this spring and was wondering if you had noticed a difference with how he interacts with the players and his fellow coaches.
some of the girls in my ticket group turned around to take a picture during a play. they were 2 rows below me and i forced them to trade seats
If someone isn't paying attention and they've got a better spot than you in the NEZ, it should be perfectly valid to usurp their bleacher. When they complain, tell them that you didn't hear anyone from this area & you thought it was empty. Then offer your seat to trade so they are disturbed less by the noise you'll be creating. If everyone did this, the deadweight will eventually realize this isn't acceptable and either participate (one of us, one of us) or keep to their tailgating.
breakout would be rmfw's first run in whatever year's spring game that was.
i know, and in a way i kinda hope he is because that would just fuck up dani's whole story right? i was just trying to think of vt/house targaryen parallels. o'cainspring as viserys is perfect.
btw i love this thread. i could talk asoiaf/hokie football all day.
Also, paper airplanes are NOT the point of coming to the game!!
Well if Mike London had any extra timeouts, he would probably ice Steger and the Homecoming court a few times. Then that would be the biggest waste of time
I completely agree.
Homecoming is the single biggest waste of time in the entire fall football season.....
But then who would cheer when they announce homecoming queen?
Would anyone (other than the sisters of who givsa crappa) care if they didnt announce it at the game?
I am as excited about Edmunds as the rest of the VT interwebs, but is this a breakout? I mean, it's quite a bit more compared to past scrimmages and compared to Holmes in the same scrimmage, but I'm still looking for a big Spring Game from him.
To me, breakout is Darren Evan's 200+ against Maryland, but I guess I'm a bit spoiled!

I had to smile at this quote
Because we do have a tight end of exactly that size on this team!!! Only hes starting in a different spot...
