I don't read the ESPN blogs and I tend to stay away from the site. I've read a couple of articles in the past few months, mostly Heather's really bad ones. Adelson is okay. Better than HD. I always wonder why AA was brought on. Was Dinich doing a bad job?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoyed having Andrea Adelson along for the ride this season on that blog. She was actually pretty good, even though she was splitting time with the Big (L)East/USA/Goodwill Conference.
Also, wouldn't it be so #goacc if we replaced Dinich with her?
2nd half comeback. Just like football.
We lost our #3 DT from last season and that's it... hardly a crisis situation. Behind Hopkins, Maddy and Harley are a trio of underclassmen. While they are unproven, you gotta figure at least one of them is going to make the case for PT. Not to mention JR Collins and Corey Marshall can play DT.
Starters:
D. Hopkins - SR
L. Maddy - JR
Backups:
K. Harley - R-SO
C. Marshall - JR
J. Taylor - R-SO
A. Smith - R-FR
N. Williams - R-FR

That's all I got.

Beat Duke and BMX halftime show. Going to be a great night.
I'm pretty sure his contract is up in two years, three years tops and he has already said he is retiring when his contract is up. I believe Tom Gabbard is following suit as well.
for the charts and graphs.
visual learner here, so thanks!
si, los dos son la verdad, es asi!
Duke, without Ryan Kelly, is extremely beatable. If you take the Duke off their chests in your head and just play, every team in the league can realistically beat them. BC showed us that they're not a top 5, or even ten, team without Kelly.
I think we should start a #FireWeaver movement
Y'all be nice to Heather Dinich now. She is, after all, the love child of Al Groh and Mike London, y'all.
Edit: Come on, -3? Don't y'all know I was being sarcastic?
This game needs to be a sellout. This team feeds off the energy and with nothing really to play for, why not beat duke. Also, Halftime is going to be insane.
what you're saying is she can't be The Key Play.
I hope he'd be better on the d-line than o-line, because he hasn't really made an impact (partially due to injury).
...at DT more? That's where he was recruited. We're basically down to Maddy, whichever Hopkins is left, Harley and failed DE's.
That is glorious. Best non-sports moment of my freshman year was when they had an all-nuketown playlist on COD: BLOPS
Could just be evaluating people at different positions, which is a good way to build depth.
Waiting on French to have his seizures moment...
Also concerning because who would realistically step in at LG? Farris or Arkema? I was not impressed by Arkema in the least last season and I felt that Farris had better snaps at center.
If he is moving to center, that wouldn't shock me because of his stature, but I'm not sure how productive he can be. Last season, he really struggled to get a push at the point of attack, and he whiffed on a lot of pass protections. For what it is worth, after last season, I don't see him earning a starting job and learning another position might be the best way for him to compete for playing time.
for quite a while, and getting sufficiently annoyed w/HD, I bookmarked all of the staff writers and blogs she links to (which is how she gets most of her info) that I found interesting, so now I spend minimal time reading (or listening to) HD.
