For the better. When I was there, the field was situated between Lane & Cassel. I got to see Franklin Stubbs bounce a couple HR off of the rear of Cassel (awesome!). We weren't better than average, but it was a great way to spend a spring afternoon.

At least we beat them in football

they wouldnt have him on the scout team as a tailback for the entire year if they had any intentions of putting him at lb. we lacked a dominant tailback this past year, and obviously it killed us. i dont care how many bodies we have at the position, we need a great tailback that can take over a game and if he even hints that he will give us that, then he's not going anywhere

Or like the girl that tried to be a kicker. Often times, preferred walk-ons have an arrangement with the coaches that says that they will be a member of the team but not have a scholarship. Regular walk-ons will participate in tryouts to receive a spot in most cases.

Preferred walk-ons will often be recruited, without ever being offered a scholarship. Regular walk ons are guys that were not recruited in high school at all, but may have emailed the coaching staff around practice time to attempt to gain a spot on the team. Think Daniel Rodriguez.

The most important thing you need to know is where to sit for the games. You can bring a folding chair and a cooler for "soda" if you sit just outside the fence on the third base line. The greatest times of my Hokie career have been sitting up on that hill drinking and watching with friends

Okay, well lets just hope he improves the scores himself and doesn't go all DRose. We don't need that kind of crap.

Mackey? That you?

Wyatt Teller looked pretty mean in high school. Lets give him a shot at linebacker!

Here is some of his film below!

(joking of course......or am i?)

In high school I once had a three homerun game off of Justin Verlander while I was hungover from heavy drinking during lunch period. I got offered a full ride from Standford that night after the game but turned it down to play club baseball at VT.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

I juked Aaron Brooks and made him fall when I was a kid at his and Mike Vick's football camp in Newport News. He chose me to demonstrate how to make an agile move so he could demonstrate how to cover it as a defender. Guess my feet were quicker than he expected and he wound up on his back. My dad took a picture of me helping him up. Got Vick's autograph that day too.

I cannot throw stones because when I was high school I was playing with a girls pepper spray and shot it into a trash can.... it was a HUGE mistake. It cleared the whole house and I looked like an idiot. So dumb....good lesson learned. I still can't believe he did it in a public restaurant though...dude does not make wise choices.

I mean who here hasn't accidentally maced an entire Buffalo Wild Wings before? Cut the guy a break.

And I burned Torrey Smith (Ravens WR) in one on ones in high school football practice. He bit hard on a double move and I was so in shock of how wide open I was that I dropped a floater that hit me in the stomach.

I can say I was almost talented. ALMOST.

Actually I just researched it, cuz I heard the same thing, and the only thing holding Reid back are his SAT scores. Most people think he'll be able to qualify.

And I hit a home run off Jeron G-W in little league. The glory days.

I played against him as well in HS States, good ball player. Quick hands. All around a great prospect for what he can do on both sides.
