First, UVA fans' logic that the 3,000 and counting days of possessing the Commonwealth Cup is a cover up of how bad the basketball team is? What the eff? Let's see...Virginia Tech fielded the worse team in 20 years and still beat LOLUVA, 20-17 thanks to Mike London and his infamous Clock Management Technique.

I'd say Benny Marzano's quickly tempers that travesty. Kinda hard to argue with their price and size. A full pizza is about 30$ and if you had it for a tailgate, it would feed about half the parking lot.
Coach Hughes is kind of like Greenberg in that he will get Tech better than they have been in a while, but it will still be hard to beat UNC and other top teams. I usually go to at least the VMI game and we usually destroy them, but other than that I only go to a weekend game if there isn't really anything else to do.

Oh Gumby's was totally overrated, but isn't that the point of college. I'd literally shit green 15 mins after eating it and think "that can't be good" then get drunk the next night and order it again. Those were the good days.
Note: Looking back now perhaps the Wild Turkey was doing more harm than the Gumby's. Ah well.

I remember that picture from 2004 caused a big uproar down in Miami, because we had only clinched a share of the ACC Championship after beating UVA. All the papers down there were saying Miami was super pissed (they could claim a share of the championship and the BCS bid with a win over us to end the season) and they were using it as motivation. Then we beat them too.

A buddy of mine was a backup fullback for their first National Championship under Saban and he got a drunk in public and he said Saban ripped him a new one. It wasn't publicized because he didn't play, but Saban went off on him about embarrassing the Alabama name, so I can't imagine what Saban did when he found out about these kids.
It is a pain to get back on the highway for sure.
