I remember spring in the burg....and leaving early for classes so I could walk by Newman Beach...make my way up to Slusher....quite enjoyable!
The hate bama has for auburn just as we do for UVA. I mean could you imagine that? How hard of a loss that will be for them? I can't wait til it happens!!!!!
I loved slusher beach around April when the nice weather came back and brought the bikinis out.
I like everything about this kid. He has awesome character, and is just a classy, trash talking, joker that makes the game that much more fun. And what he did in Orlando, and an out spoken faith in God. He is just so likable. I really hope to see him on the field next year. Rooting for you Antone, I know that you will put in the extra effort to get back on the field, and when you do, you will gain your rightful place and show these incoming freshmen whats up.

Didn't even think of that. Nice.
Where can i buy one? get to printing them and make some money.
Dakota Jackson will be thrown into the TE mix as well.
What about our FBs? Do they fit what Loeffler is going to want?
Love the idea of the pick and roll, and I mentioned it a couple of recaps ago. The team really needs to practice/implement that as it would give us another piece of offense in the half court. Sadly, I haven't seen us come close to seriously adding it.
#BEATBAMA LETS GOOOO

I had an ACL reconstructive surgery back in 2007, its not fun, hopefully Exum will bounce back like Adrian Peterson did.
This also reminds me of the time I saw Darren Evans slowly walking across the street on crutches, I felt so bad.
Finally, Basketball is a great game for getting in good shape, and I'm glad players are spending their time playing basketball rather than other things, but after this and USC's Robert Woods having ankle surgery from a Basketball injury, I think if I was a coach I'd tell players to stay away.
Right now i am on the search of Falcons fans to get the in but not much going. I do some contractor work for Chick Fil-a from time to time and also trying that route but...who knows.
"This would be like beamer and foster going to uva and beating tech..."
How dare you speak of sins like that on here! It's blasphemy I tell you! Out damn spot! There are ways to express our dislike of things without damning folks to the furthest reaches of hell!
Oh yeah....LOL.
I wonder how long it has been since we had a scholarship player graduate from the College of Engineering... doesn't seem feasible. I couldn't imagine adding a varsity sport to the schedule I had for 4 years.
A lot of us know Redskins fans because we live in Virginia/Maryland/etc. I know a handful of Falcons fans, but only one that has season tickets, one of my dad's frat brothers, and he's likely to only use his tickets for himself and a few of his closest friends, and we are nowhere close to the top of that list (his name also happens to be on a dorm, if that tells you anything...)
...Virginia Tech has assessed what we want out of our QB's. 20 years, we basically have required the same things out of our QB's.
Now, new guy in town. What does he want our QB's to do? There may be no perceptible change at all or dramatic change. We're about to find out.
I watched that video every morning during finals week last semester. That's exactly the kind of motivational speech we need, and it's spot on. Any given Saturday.
I think Beyer puts out as much effort as Green. He gives it his all, I love watching players like that, even if they lack pure talent.
Thats it.
"Great moments... are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here, tonight, boys. That's what you've earned here tonight. One game. If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we play with them. Tonight, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can! Tonight, WE are the greatest football team in the world. You were born to be football players, virginia tech players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here tonight. This is your time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great football team Alabam has. Screw 'em. This is your time. Now go out there and take it"
1. Agreed, there really can't be enough said of him this season. If you asked most people and probably green himself, if he thought he'd be this good by his senior year after the freshmen season he had, most people thought he would have transferred. He is consistently one of the main people in the practice gym putting in the extra work. The only other person on this team that can match his hustle doesn't come close in talent and that's Joey Racer.
2. Most of them are tired/lazy. Dave Jackson is always on them during conditioning and practices about not being lazy. There are times that I believe he cares more about the game than most of the players and coaching. This might be the most frustrating part of this team.
3. CJ is the only one with any confidence to hit from 17/18 ft, but he is an awful screener so it isn't effective. Cadarian/JVZ don't shoot unless they are right under the basket. High top fade is more of a 3 than a 4 so like Jarrell last year, he is forcing a lot of things since he is out of position.
As long as he's smart and tough, Loeffler will be on board.
when we beat bama on national tv, with of their most hated rivals ex coaches! I cant wait to see the looks on their faces when they realized they lost to VT and the ACC. This would be like beamer and foster going to uva and beating tech, thats how bad its going to be. Oh man I cant wait! Low motha fuckin pride!

When my Dad was at VT (mid 70's) he said all the ugly girls lived in East Eggleston and West Eggleston. They referred to that "beach" as the Bay of Pigs.
