On the field and off. I was really looking forward to him beast it against Bama and having a great senior year. Maybe there still is a chance, but depends on recovery and conditioning. He's a pretty determined guy so my guess he gets back and plays his sack off his senior year, just a matter of when. Here's to a speedy recovery Exum!
The thing about basketball, though, is the very nature of the playing surface. My sports medicine buddy always believed football and soccer players accustomed to running on turf were more likely to hurt themselves on a hard court (and vice versa). That's why I say the coaches and trainers need to preach caution to their players.

that this happened. Youre right about it being college. All the players ball at Mccomas. Even the break before the bowl game they were balling at the gym. LT, Davis, Fuller, Knowles, Exum, Scales, Holmes. Sometimes we forget that theyre in college and do other things besides football. Very unfortunate.
Someone will step up. Doesn't make it any better.

Even worst case (9 months), he still gets to play his senior year. It'd put him back sometime in October (so maybe for ACC play?). So there's still that. I guess it could be worse...
Damn. Hopefully the recovery is closer to 6-months but we're going to need someone else to step up.

It would look like one of those right about now. From the press conference to everything being said/written about the new coaches, there will be serious backlash if the record doesn't improve this year.
People are going to put up here what they see or hear. Just because it isn't confirmed on the tech website or whatever "news" source you trust, doesn't mean it isn't accurate. Yes it could have been worded differently but at least he was trying to update everyone on what he and his friends saw.
Do we have a better chance of getting him than the other? I saw where he was highly interested in Albama (of course), Michigan (of course), South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tech... But with the extreme recruits coming into Michigan and Alabama already this year I don't see why he'd want to go there. I see this kid staying close to home.
