I was pretty drunk when I posted that. Should have said it could possibly be a torn ACL. Somebody said an ankle, but I was with my friend who has torn his in the past and he said that was what or seemed like. He's no doctor by any means though. Sorry to make that such a blunt and unconfirmed post. But I still haven't really heard anything else since.

can't say I didn't see this coming..

ah well, would've been nice to have him in the backfield, but we'll be fine. best of luck to him.

any updates?

"Exum tore his ACL" if you don't know that's true.

Maybe say something like "Hey I was playing basketball and it looked like Exum hurt his knee". You know. Something factually accurate.

Maturity issues or not it hurts when the number 1 running back in the country is in your own back yard and you can't pull him. Looks like a day 1 contributor.

I hope it's not that serious. Like you said, he's been putting in so much work that it would really be a shame if he didn't get to play in that game. Hopefully he gets better, everyone will be rooting for him.

Especially after what he said in the presser. This whole time he's been talking about the work he's been putting in and how he is ready for #Bama. Such a sad thing to happen. Of course, I hope it's nothing serious and he will be ready to go. It just looked really bad in McComas today

If it's serious, we should hear something tomorrow I guess. Hopefully it's just a sprain or something, I don't want him missing any practice time if possible. He improved so much as a cornerback last year, I want him to really be able to refine his game in the offseason.

Just as a student who was in the gym at the time. It looked and seemed as an ACL tear. Of course I'm hoping it's not, but at the time that was what it seemed like to me.

I remember watching the tape of Shawn Good, Purcell, Ace Custis, and Corruth (Sp?). Those were the good days!

The interwebs so far just have people saying they saw him leaving getting helped out of McComas, not putting any weight on his right leg. No way to tell who actually saw him though. Not to sound accusing, but what proof do you have he tore his ACL?

Moorehead is vintage Charlie Pride in that pic. There's a new posse in town, and Bud's defense will begin to get real reps in spring starting this year. I don't want to jump the gun, but considering the recent recruiting classes and the attitude we're seeing from these coaches, the temporary disappearance of the 'burg from the college football conversation might be a distant memory in the not-so-distant future.

  1. Beamer talked to Saban about the hire – I like Loeffler don’t get me wrong, but a part of me thought, “Not sure if Saban’s sabotaging us or giving genuine, four ring advice #beatbama
  2. Scot (one T), when talking about his style in the past, kept saying “we” – in reference to him and Grimes. They’re on the same page!
  3. Grimes has had a number of jobs but all have been OL.
  4. "What went wrong at Auburn last year?"
“to talk about what happened at Auburn, would be unfair to the people at Auburn” –Scot
“you deal in what’s real… circumstances sometimes, the players you got. You gotta take in what’s real” –Beamer ..
aka "Auburn was a fucking mess"
  5. 15:34-16:30 I LOVE EVERYTHING THAT GRIMES JUST SAID. "toughest line in the ACC... particularly running the football...we're the tip of the spear so to speak, first in to fight. If we do our job with the right approach and the right mindset, I think the other guys will follow.
  6. "We were visiting with Pep Hamilton and one of the guys he really liked was (Moorehead)." -Beamer
  7. Drink every time Scot says smart and tough.

I wonder how he'll develop Joel Caleb? Will he be able mold more receivers into blocking machines? How will he utilize Knowles' blazing speed? What depth will Stanford and Asante provide?

This is the first year trying to go to one of these things, hopefully I don't have to work that night.

Managed to find a great deal for the noise state game.

Found this fancan gem when looking through my archived pictures. It was assembled from our tailgate in the last Bama opener. Great avatar, don't you think? #BEATBAMA

It seem that Loeffler and Grimes have a strong chemistry, which is going to be critical to the success of the program. I think that Shane is also completely on board with the new hires. I think Stinespring will be fine. There was no indication of animosity with the new hires, especially with Loeffler taking over the play calling from Stinespring. The chemistry of the new hires seem to be very obvious. The jostling with Exum and Morehead was pure gold, but that seem to show the respect that even Exum have for Morehead.

I also think with Beamer basically giving the keys to Loeffler to run the offense, it would appear to me Beamer is taking the hands-off approach with the offense, which is great! That is one reason why Clemson is so successful, Swinney took the CEO role in coaching Clemson, entrusting the offense to Chad Morris, and the defense to Brent Veneables.

I have to give major props to Beamer for admitting that changes wasn't easy for him, but at the same time, he sounded up-beat about the changes. I think that is going to become contagious this spring.

I can't freaking wait for the spring ball!

Loeffler remind you of Donald Trump, Grimes of Toby Keith, and for some reason, Morehead of Barney Fife (Don Knotts), LOL! Grimes looks like he belongs as an actor in a Western....maybe the new lead on the TV show Justified! Please redo the photo with the new header,"Men, we're gonna stampede these Gobblers right through 'em and cross that goal line!"

Beamer has been very classy throughout this whole ordeal...apparently much more calculated and thorough than many suspected as well....how could you want anyone else running our program? major kudos, Frank!

I'm so excited, I feel like a Pointer sista!

I also lost my meme virginity to TKP, LOL!
