I think this was just some smoke getting people to say "we need this guy to stay for recruiting. OC was just not his thing." Think it is a stretch that no High School players in Virgina would want to play for the Hokies if he is not the one recruiting them. Either that or if he did speak to the Colts they decided he just was not a very nice guy and we all no that couldn't have happened because everyone says he is a nice guy. Unless the Colts don't hire guys just because of how nice they are.

An added benefit to hiring 2 Auburn coaches is at least they know Alabama. I think Frank will be more open to letting them do what they think is best in the Bama game unlike Chizik. I think this gives us a better chance than the alternative of having Stinespring wing it.

My friend came up for the weekend and I got him in for his first Hokie experience and even with only about 6 thousand or so there, he commented to me on how loud it got in there. With all the students back, Thursday better be rocking.

We interviewed Bryan. Told Frank I'd do h a solid after leaving him hanging on te OC thing. Turns out he doesn't know ANYTHING about offense. He kept yelling "screen". We told him go back to VT. Pretend like it was his idea...you know like he pretends to know how to run an offense.

I want the guy from the Catfish movie and MTV show (Nev) to investigate this and do an episode. The show is absolutely crazy, just like this "hoax". He is great at getting the perpetrator to open up and spill the beans on the situation.

I don't mind the orange uniforms under two conditions. We wear them with our standard maroon helmet, maroon pants, and black socks and we only wear them once a season for the orange effect game. In fact, we should wear black socks and the maroon helmets every game. Also, we shouldn't overuse the all maroon, like we did in 2007. It's not as special when when we wear it all the time. We should wear it for the Bama game, the maroon effect game, and the bowl game.

the positive is that this was a game that a Greenburg team would have lost. Winning the close ones is what can make the difference.

Thats why I want to move him to TE. He certainly shouldn't be immune for mismanaging the RB rotation this year.

At least on THIS site, in my opinion the prevailing sentiment was reassignment to retain his recruiting abilities, and get him out of the way of running the offense.
