Think about this... he's here on an official visit. He's staying with another UVA player, in this case, Eli Harold. Harold's birthday (his 20th, I do believe) was last Sunday (technically the day Mizzell was arrested, but it was at 1:30-ish in the morning). Do you think Harold will be hearing from London? Do the police want to know where Mizzell obtained said adult beverages? Harold is still under age as well. How does Mizzell get away from his official host? Did he get away from his host? There are more questions from this episode that I wonder if we'll ever hear answered.
My guess is that the kid figured out what he had committed to, and decided that he needed to get very, very drunk.

Took the time to digest your notes today, job well done. I too like this hire. I firmly believe all success stems from running the ball. I believe the combination of new hires will drastically improve our game preparation, film study, and mental readiness come kick-off. Based on the Roanoke Times article from earlier in the week, it sounds like whomever is QB is going to have to be very heady. I would surmise that future QB's will be more traditional/pro-style build.
Have we ever got a big time recruit from the state of Oklahoma? Seems like the new coaches can get us into new states as well. As French has said multiple times, we really need to start recruiting new states for OL so I think this is a really good sign that only a week or two in and we're already seeing recruits from the not so typical VT states. I understand that Loeffler was already recruiting him so I'm not expecting Oklahoma to become a part of our pipeline, I just think it's noteworthy that this guy is from Oklahoma.
I hope those same idiots that tried to instigate an investigation into Shane's contact with a recruit (morons), can get the wheels rolling on this.

Most likely. I'm thinking though they haven't officially started they've talked with Frank and Cav about recruits and agreed to extend his offer. Loeffler will then be allowed to talk to him Friday I guess.
Even if you don't like the Ravens it would be sweet for TT to show up in Blacksburg wearing that SB Championship ring.
From the rivals page, it looks like Loeffler was his primary recruiter at Auburn. I am guessing VT just extended the offer, but once Loeffler starts, he will resume being the primary recruiter.

How would Loeffler be recruiting already? The announcement from VT was that the three new coaches start on Friday, Jan. 25. If they're not yet officially coaches, how can they recruit? I wonder if the #Loeffler tag is just to indicate that he's excited to work with Loeffler, and maybe Shane or someone else is recruiting him.
