To close out this year with 3 wins will go a long way for the confidence of this young squad. 2 losses going into the offseason could spell even bigger trouble for the team heading down to Atlanta next year.
I would be that Tweedy still gets a majority of the snaps. BC will be in a bunch of one back ace sets with two tight ends.
I really hope Laurence Gibson gets meaningful snaps. The BC game last year is where he really grabbed my eye with his attitude, leg drive, and footwork. All three are things that the current offensive line, with their bunny hops and squatting chest to chest with the DL like they are trying to take a dump in the woods, are currently lacking.
I hate seeing people wearing that crap at games. Clemson and UVA. ridiculous.
The best part is that the camera FOLLOWS him when he bends down, like the cameraman knew he had to capture the entirety of the devastation.
And the trolling of the First Year Second Year Third Year Fourth Year deal. David Pollack saying "No, he's a Senior, not a Fourth Year" was pretty funny.
We are playing inspired and as a team. I know we haven't been challenged yet, but it is nice to win the games that we are supposed to win without struggling (Greenberg Era) late in the game. So far it appears that the players have bought in to JJ as their HC. Playing time is being spread around more effectively. The team looks loose and happy to be playing ball. This is refreshing.
BC never seems to be an easy opponent. and personally i'm glad Corey Fuller is getting the nod at starting receiver, he's worked hard all year and deserves it

UVA: Nothing says we care about football like blasting "Gangam Style" when we are down by 20.
everybody in the stadium saw that first pick happen before he threw it. he stared fuller down all the way across the field, he was clearly covered and bam, logan throws it anyways. groan
There is something commendable in the "don't take it so seriously, we're uva fans after all..." set.
It's the poor schlubs, for which there really aren't many, who take uva football/basketball so seriously and get really upset at their regular epic fails that are loathesome.
I was kinda hoping they'd win, and we would be the ones to drink their milkshake next weekend.
When I was watching some of that dumpster fire of a game last night I couldn't help but think that ESPN really was trolling UVA. Between the bro in the sweater vest, the bros singing together, and every other crowd shot of the most UVA fans ever ESPN really had to be trolling them that's the only explanation I could think of

French exceeds expectations. We look forward to the QB analysis!
I'm not trying to be mean, I think I'm pretty open minded but I honestly do not understand this thought process of UVA people wearing what they wear to a football game. Could you imagine saying "I'm going to go watch a football game, which tie should I wear? Ah there is my game day sweater vest.. alright all set!" Terrible.
You said exactly what I was thinking, this team can shoot the lights out of the gym. We have 5 legitimate 3 point threats (Green, Eddie, Johnston, Wood and Brown) and I don't think any of them are afraid to shoot the ball. Another thing that I've really liked about what we've done this year is the ball movement against the 2-3 zone. It seemed like last year we would just swing the ball around until Green penetrated, now we have actual ball movement.
This team has a lot of potential for this year, I really think that. If we can keep hitting our threes then we're going to upset a few teams in ACC play (I'm looking at you Duke).
"...BC won't be able to stop them."
Well, Crap.
