Ha, that guy has stuff in his basement that dates back to when I was in middle school. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to build up my memorabilia collection. Right now it's a few championship banners, Old Hokie banner, the "Reach for Excellence" sign, and a custom painted lunch pail to match the on-field one. Looooong way to go to ever match that guy. At least every square inch of wall space is painted maroon.
Oh, and the arcade machine I mentioned has built in maroon cup-holders and fan covers, too :)

You're being a little harder on O'Cain than I would be. Not a whole lot, but a little. I agree that he should go, but that's more about LT's regression and his history at other programs and needing to give a new OC (which we desperately need) the freedom to pick his own QB coach (or be the QB coach). I don't know that the problems with our offensive scheme(s) can legitimately be laid at his door. He's responsible for play calling, but Stiney is still responsible for scheme and game planning, right? And as you said toward the end, some of that is quite possibly coming from Beamer as well. Both outrank O'Cain, so he can argue, but do you think Beamer at least would ever allow himself to be argued down by O'Cain?

I'm pretty sure you just summed-up everything I've been thinking about the offense for the last 7ish years, especially the part about Newsome, the way we recruit (or lack of it) offensive linemen, the lack of identity on offense, and ALWAYS needing a QB that can scramble to keep us out of a mess. Sadly, with the reading of the post and all of the comments related to Frank's inability to set an identity for the offense, I had a very bad memory emerge out of the bowels of my football mind - Boston College, 2003. After lighting the stadium on fire for a quarter, Frank opts to put Vick in to start the 2nd quarter instead of Randall. Up to that point we had lit-up the BC defense to the tune of 175+ yards (maybe even 200, i'm not sure... too much bourbon in me at the time to recall), but dropping Vick in the game resulted in a stalled drive, and the offense never recovered....
We then went on to feature Vick at WR 2 games later... again, lack of identity, and we're still seeing it today.
