And we're falling flat on our face for it. Because they're just playing into every stereotype ever and putting them on YouTube. What's next, a Zima chugging contest?

Great job with these, my favorite is keep drinking mike london's tears.

I get back into Norfolk Saturday morning and was looking at snagging some of those cheap UVA tickets but my goodness the prices have been hiked like a champ, $175 each is the cheapest on stubhub! Oh well. I just hope there will be a huge amount of Hokies in attendance. Can you imagine if it's louder in there when UVA has the ball? How embarassing...

Dammit, I keep going 4-2. Why is it so hard to get to .500? I may have to give this up, well at least when I die, or a few years after. The short week is wonderful, and I am still in a glow from seeing the Hokies win live last week. That was the first time in the last 5 years i have seen that. Hopefully I am on a winning streak and I will go to all the remaining games and keep that streak going. Sadly I will be 2000+ miles away for UVA. It was a great time at the UNC game, I finally got to meet out fearless leader after sending him on a wild goose chase around McBride and Slusher. I also got to try some hoppy, IPA, porter type crap courtesy of VTjawo and shared a little bourbon with ZacHAttach7. I wish I could have met and had drinks with more of you. My game experience was a little out of the norm as me and 3 other highly intoxicate old men got a ride in a golf cart down the causeway after we entered. We then went to a box at the South End Zone. It was nice since it was cold, the drinks were free and there was tons of food but the atmosphere was not the same. But a win is a win, no matter if freezing your ass off in the stands or getting a foot rub and back massage while eating cheetos and sipping on a can of Ultra Light. On to the picks.

LSU - BCO wants chaos, Merika wants chaos and I want chaos. Problem is we rarely get what we want. Just remember every game matters, as long as it is in the SEC and between two teams that could actually play in the national championship. Tyler Wilson take more hits that Tina took from Ike and he keeps going. LSU will test this for sure. Although Arkansas has been playing better each week, I think LSU will cover and win, helped by a frenzied Baton Rouge crowd.

UGA - I still hate GiT and Paul Johnson. I really can't think of anything else to say except #AvengeNesbitt

tOSU - It is Michigan's year, so they will lose. That's what rivalry games are all about. It appears that Urban Myer is healthy as a newborn and ready to take the helm of tOSU. I think the Buckeyes will play extra hard to send Luke Fickel out on a good note. I am going against my #1 rule of going picking the cheerleader picture team but I can't get to .500 w/out breaking a couple rules.

Alabama - Revenge will be on Alabama's mind and amazingly enough, they are in a better position than and no loss LSU team. Yes, this BcS system is the only way to truly crown a champion, make every game matter and keep the integrity of the bowls (which means VT loses millions each time it goes to a BCS bowl). Word is Cecil Newton has 17K on Alabama and far be it from me to go against him.

Wisconsin - The players on Penn St are a good story but I think it comes to an end as Russell Wilson and Montee Ball should be able to score on PSU. B1G action, catch it.

UVA - I haven't picked the Hokies all year and I won't start now. The way I see it, UVA has to win at some point. This might as well be the year. The only thing that makes me think we will win is that every podcast I listened to this week says UVA will win. Either all those guys are really smart or Logan Thomas will run and thow all over them.

Beer of the week is a trio of holiday beers. I finished off some Deshutes Brewery Jubelale and have moved on to Pyramid Snow Cap Winter Warmer and will finish the week off with my favorite holiday beer, Maritime Brewery Jolly Rogers Christmas Ale. Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Drinking and Go Hokies.

and THE Virginia Tech Hokies

My beer choice coming from a Mikellar-Brew Dog collaboration is Divine Rebel. Whiskey and beer mmmm!

Arkansas at LSU -12 -- LSU
UGA -6 at GT -- Jackets
Ohio State at Michigan -8 -- Wolverines
Alabama -21 at Auburn -- Auburn
Penn State at Wisconsin -14.5 -- Wisconsin
Virginia Tech -5 at Boo-Hoos -- Hokies

The only 'problem' with that one, is that it doesn't need to be photoshopped at all... Good find.

LSU - LSU's front will sack Wilson minimum 3 times, Claiborne has at least one pick
GT to cover - Tough to prepare for option in a week. Plus they are really concerned about next weekend anyway
Michigan - If last week is any indication, these teams headed in opposite directions
Auburn - Not sure Bama can score 21 against a team with moderate rush defense
Penn State to cover - they have come this far despite controversy, don't expect them to give up now
Virginia Tech - I see the Hokies winning by a touchdown, but not much more. Somebody picks off Rocco to seal the deal

OurKansas. Single digit win for the Tigers.
Uga will destroy the fighting paul johnsons!!!
MEEEEEEshigun. The Blue and maize owe some retribution to The ohio state.
War Damn Eagle. 21 is too many. They burn libraries and cause earthquakes in this thing.
Wisky with the smooth cover. Monte Ball has 17 tds in this game alone.
HOKIES!!!!!! Nuff Said.

Not a bad Wednesday. Made sure they knew it was David, not Dave, Wilson for next year...

Arkan's ass +12
Gah Tech +6
Meeshagin -8
Awwwburn +21
Nitany Lie-ons +14.5
France +5

One thing that is hard to see in the stats is the quality of throws that Logan is making. Jesse Palmer pointed it out a couple times during the GT game, and I haven't watched the broadcast of the UNC game, but the fade to DJ Coles in the corner of the endzone shows me that he has next level talent. I know that is not a bold prediction, but with teams keying in on the run, he could have a great stat line just off of hitting wide open receivers with throws that do not require much touch on the ball. He has shown numerous times now that he can make the difficult throw when needed and is more that just a solid game manager that can run over people. Also on a side note, remember that LT had the shoulder injury for the Marshall and Clemson games. It probably would not have changed the outcome of the Clemson game, but his stats took a hit because the playcalling was dialed back to protect the shoulder.

If Logan finishes these games strong with the nation watching, people will take notice. Most of this year's crop of Heisman hopefuls will graduate or leave for the NFL. It's time to start the campaign.

If LT3 improves like TT did from season to season, next year will be special. How special? Time will tell...
