2. Skippy is a good enough, plays tight enough for South Florida to hang within ten.
3. Georgia wins by double-digits.
4. LSU. I have to support our future SEC brethren.
5. SMU. Craig James allegedly killed five hookers while at SMU. That has nothing to do with my pick, but had to be said.
6. Miami. I think the 'Canes will feed off all the negative energy, at least for one game.

Beer of the Week:

It's opening week so more often than not, like every other week, I'll be drinking bourbon. If I do drink beer, it'll be PBR and it'll be served five at a time in a bucket in remembrance of the five hookers Craig James allegedly killed.

SMU - With the exception of the OU game, aTm couldn't stop a great offense last year (L's to OkSU, ARK, MIZZ, LSU).
TheU - I'd like to believe Golden will have the 'Canes rally around the adversity, and UMD's 9-4 record last year was filled with nobodies.

Yesterday the link was to the nike corporate blog...however, this said, the link didn't work. I didn't take it as a problem re: orange pants, since several other links in the article also sent you to the inoperable nike blog. My guess was that nike didn't like the mother ship linking for some unknown legal reason. So they went with The (more authoritative?) Key Play.

Nd - this match up may cause Lou holtz' brain to explode revealing him to be a robot (or full of scarabs)
Boise - pat forde made me do it.
Oregon - lsu's players beating people off the field will cause them to get beat on it
Smu - Tannehill and Co were rolling at the end of last season but smu has enough O to keep it close
Miami - Golden won at Temple. Miami's 3rd string should have more talent than he's used to
