There is a VERY narrow age range when that would apply. Most agree athletic peak is somewhere mid twenties to maybe thirty. I wouldn't automatically say a 40 year old that could still play ball shouldn't get a scholarship to some lower level school.

To be fair, isn't architecture a 5 year program? And most engineers don't graduate in 4 (at least it was very rare when I was there).

I doubt there are many engineering or architecture students playing football, so not sure it really applies, but maybe at some schools.

French, you might've mentioned this in other threads, but are there any other positions of note that you think we need to reinforce still? I'm sure OL is one of them...

That French review tho...

Carroll Dale is in Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

Another one to watch is Duane Brown.

Kam is not yet in Ring of Honor but was inducted into the Northwest Football Hall of Fame and is a current nominee for Pro Football Hall of Fame for modern players.

FILM REVIEW TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE MORNING, FAM.

Kid can ball. But he is going to be very very very different from every VT QB going back to Sean Glennon. In the pocket (moves well in the pocket), patient, accurate, reads the field. But, HE NEEDS TIME TO THROW. Gauntlet is dropped to Matt Moore to protect the QB.

That's really cool! I'm glad to see Dell getting some love.

As far as I know, Bruce Smith is the only other Hokie with a retired number for a professional team (Buffalo Bills).

If I had to guess, Kam Chancellor will probably have his number retired by the Seahawks at some point. And although it's not a true number retirement, I think that Michael Vick will probably be inducted into the Falcons' Ring of Honor soon.

Hopefully there will be more!

He showed some flashes, thought he was a pleasant surprise.

But with the Portal guys coming in and (presumptively) Wiggins and Adams back and healthy next year, he should go somewhere he will be more likely to get more targets.

Best of luck to him.
