Tyrod Goes Evaluated for Possible Concussion

Tyrod took a hit to the head in last night's game against the Panthers - if you haven't seen the game highlights (found here), it was classic Beamerball in all it's glory - and went straight to the locker room to be evaluated for a possible concussion. In typical Tyrod fashion, he was running on 3rd and long and was diving for the first down. Hopefully he's fine and can suit up August 29th against the Rams in the Raven's preseason finale; if he's able to play, he'll get a lot of reps.

In other Tyrod Taylor news, I recently read this article and I found these quotes from Flacco to be pretty cool:

Flacco said Taylor has all the physical skills to succeed in the NFL. And while jokingly, Falcco said he hopes Taylor keeps his reps on the field to a minimum, he is confident in Taylors ability to lead the Ravens offense if needed.

Hes going to do nothing but get better and better as time goes on and the more reps he gets Flacco said. Thats the thing with him the reps that he gets, [he has to] take as full advantage as he can and continue to improve. Like I said, hes got all the physical skills and all the mental skills. Its just a matter of getting out there and getting a chance at some point.

I want Tyrod to get his chance like everyone else but I've never really heard Bro Flacco talk about his potential. Hopefully, Tyrod can get some meaningful snaps this year in garbage games or filling in on injury duty so he can show some teams he has what it takes to be a starter. Let's face it, there are plenty of teams out there that need better quarterbacks.

That's it for my first blog post. Have an awesome weekend and #BEATBAMA
