Hyperbole? Probably. Overreaction? Definitely. But hear me out for a minute or two...
Just 9 years ago we all watched Beamer's farewell tour. It was both parts beautiful and sad. Beautiful as we saw the man who built VT football into a program that carried national relevance year after year finish with relative success. Sad, because we all knew it had to end at some point. And with that ending I think we all knew things would be rocky for a bit.

The new Sandman Suite within Lane Stadium will provide a one-of-a-kind viewing experience not only for the game but for the best entrance in sports. Located at field level, the suite will offer a unique perspective of the game and provide complimentary food and beverage. Seating 16 fans in the northeast corner of Worsham Field, the suite will be sold in its entirety on a per game basis, and pricing will vary based on the game and demand ranging from $15,000 to $35,000. Game tickets are included in each suite purchase.
Currently there are 39 states that allow high school student to participate (and profit) in the NIL landscape without forfeiting their high school eligibility. Among the states that don't allow (public) high school students to participate are Alabama, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina. I'm sure they all have their eyes on this case that was filed in NC recently...
Now that we're under a week to play, i wanted to have some fun with hot, and not so hot, takes about the upcoming football season. We've gotten all the input from the fall camp. We've seen the possible shifts in lineups. Now, it's time to wildly speculate. A little justification never hurts with a take. But, sometime
As a scale, I've chosen the BW3's wing sauce (I would have used PKs, but they don't order theirs by heat level). We'll be skipping the rubs. A dry rub doesn't really equal preseason excitement.

Which of you TKPers will be heading to Nashville next weekend for the Vanderbilt game? I've been to Nashvegas before, so I am familiar with navigating that scene. However, I have never been to or near Vanderbilt's campus, so I have no idea what to expect in terms of parking, tailgating, and general gameday experience. Any recommendations/things to watch out for?
