Logan Update - Mini-Camp
(I've been busy recently and haven't been able to keep up with TKP, so apologies if this was posted already. I don't see it in the tracker though.)
Cardinals blog has a nice update and video interview of Logan HERE
Seems like he is adjusting well and making some statements about what he can do. He still has a ways ahead of himself before starting on Sundays but it's nice to read these things:
Although caught might not quite be the right word, because the ball arrived with such force it almost seemed like it was going to stick in Oziers abdomen regardless.
Longest active streaks against one opponent?
Does anyone here know how to look up the longest active win streaks against one opponent in CFB (with the caveat that it's an uninterrupted series)? I know UF vs. Kentucky is at 27 years, I wanted to to see where the decade of dominance compares with some of the other active streaks out there.
Phil Steele has the Hokies at No. 29
Respected college football writer Phil Steele has the Hokies ranked number 29 in his preseason poll. Much like Athlon Sports, Steele has ranked the Hokies high in many of his preseason polls over the years. He also lists the projected starters with Brewer as the QB and Michael Branthover as the starting kicker. Really good read.

Why do people insist on robbing people that they know? Great chance to get a full ride and education from a D-1 school; instead you trade it for some weed and some sneakers. Enjoy prison.

David Teel Article on Division Realignment
The article suggests the possibility of switching GT to the Atlantic Division with Louisville coming to the Coastal Division. Along with that would come new cross-divisional rivalries. In this proposal Virginia Tech's cross-divisional rival would be Clemson.
Here's the article:

The Top 100 players in College Football heading into 2014.
Kendall checks in at 38 and 4th CB. Thought Maddy, Jarrett, or Facyson could make the list but not surprised they didn't (although they could all be there by the end of the season and more could too.)

Former Hokie Players: Where are they now?
After being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, and then signed with the Eagles, Mike Vick is about to become a free agent. After terrorizing QBs for over a decade, Bruce Smith has become one of the most recognized hokies supporters during games to go along with his NFL Hall of Fame and top pass rushing title. Tyrod Taylor is a SuperBowl Champion and solid backup QB for the Ravens. Kam Chancellor is a SuperBowl champion and arguably the number one safety in the NFL . DeAngelo Hall is still playing for the Redskins, his childhood team. Brandon Flowers is now starting with the Chiefs. Boykin is now catching passes for the Packers. While David Wilson is hoping to get back healthy with the NY Giants for the 2014 season.
VT Enter Sandman Ringtones
First post here. I looked around for a decent ringtone and the one that was posted here last year is no longer up. Soooo I hacked together a ringtone for all you Hokies. It's from the clip of the announcers saying "Blacksburg, VA. I've been to noisy stadiums all over..." with Enter Sandman playing over it. I'm pretty damn happy with it too.
Enjoy
