Curious what impact everyone thinks this trade will have on Isaiah Ford with the Dolphins? Does Hill being there bump him off the roster. He was fringe at best but seemed to get some late run. Not sure what this trade does.

#Hokies get some help on the D-line, getting a transfer commitment from Nebraska's Pheldarius Payne. He's from Suffolk originally. The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder had 40 tackles and three sacks in two years with the Cornhuskers. https://t.co/OR549N9kFKβ Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 21, 2022
Multiple coaches talking to media today, 3/16. Initial roster released. Biggest news is Devon Hunter has somehow run out of eligibility.
Hunter remains enrolled at Virginia Tech, but has not been with the team this spring. Sounds like the COVID year did not apply to him, so his playing clock has expired.β Matej Sis (@MatejS247) March 16, 2022

A member of our initial Top 25 rankings in the portal back in November, Virginia Tech smartly identified Blue as a priority get in its 2022 class.
