Dennis Dodd has Tony Elliot as "safe and secure" while having Pry as "all good...for now". Someone explain this other than by saying Dodd is a complete tool. Is this based on program expectations, or is Pry considered a riskier hire than Elliot?

TL;DR:
8 teams need to leave the ACC at once for the GoR to not matter. And it's unlikely that anything happens before the new playoff structure is finalized.

The latest in a series of Liberty being Liberty, Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze allegedly DMed one of the sexual assault accusers of Liberty AD Ian McCaw.
I thought it would be interesting to see where the former staff has landed (or in some cases, hasn't). The more I dug, the sadder I got. You would expect many former D-1 coaches from a football rich school like VT to be picked up. Without further adieu:

What is the likelihood that, in the next calendar year, one or more current ACC teams (counting ND) announces that they will leave the conference?

What conference does VT play the 2025/2026 season in?

Alright, yesterday I had a little fun throwing together a Worsham Field template to see what the Big Ten and SEC logos would look like in Lane, which you can see here.
But that got me thinking... Why not just try and see what different designs would look like in Worsham right now. I mean I know there's a fat chance in hell that we'll ever fully paint the end zones, but a man can dream, right?
Anyway, this would basically be the current scheme with maroon end zones and some more detail on the sidelines:

I know we are having discussions elsewhere about what is going on with the landscape of college sports, but with Texas and Oklahoma already leaving for the SEC and now USC and UCLA leaving for the Big Ten, this is awful and ominous news for the ACC.
