Loeffler just beat his old boss
Incredible to see what Loeffler can do with talent and the proper personnel. I am ready for a new era of VT football and SL has my attention. Let's steamroll the ACC, fellas!!!!
Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

Great work by the hokies tonight. I know a couple of smug tOSU fans that I want to remind of the fact that we just broke a whole bunch of streaks at tOSU in front of the largest crowd ever at their school. But I won't.....tonight....because we're not friends on FB....yet.
Congrats to the Hokienation, Beamer,
TKP, players and fans!
I love you all!
Biggest win in years.
LeBron left when OSU was only down a score! But man what a GREAT WIN!

After beating the number 8 team in the country convincingly in their home field, there is no way Virginia tech stays unranked. there is plenty of mistakes to be corrected but I will go as far as to say right now Virginia tech is a top 10 team. GO HOKIES.
This is what Virginia Tech football is about- unheralded recruits like Dadi Nicolas, Woody Baron, and Donovan Riley and walkons like Sam Rogers, Derek DiNardo and Willie Byrn making huge plays. This is why I became a fan.
Terrific effort by the secondary, who was in a tough spot all night. Chuck Clark showed a ton of resiliency. He became a much better player tonight. Jarrett had a huge game. Deon Clarke and Chase Williams tackled better and better as the game progressed, and the scheme was beautiful to get them passing lanes. And guys like Ken Ekanem and Seth Dooley sacrificing themselves to drop into coverage and draw blockers in order to free those linebackers up.
Columbus, Ohio — The Hokies are fully dipped and working some dork magic.
Let's go into Columbus tonight and bring back the W.
Two ways to watch. I would recommend watching via WatchESPN as it will provide the best quality.
1) Go to WatchESPN.com
2) Click on Remote Access
3) It will ask you for your provider. Select Xfinity/Comcast
4) It should then take you to the Comcast login screen. Enter the following:
Username: VTFootball2014 Password: Hokie4lifE
(password is case-sensitive)
5) Once you click ok/sign-in, you should be redirected back to the WatchESPN website where you should now have access to the game. All you need to do is find it and click on it. Enjoy!
or
Desmond and the Oregon Duck picked us to upset. Corso and Herbstriet picked OSU.
I guess when you spend four years practicing against #DBU, you're not that impressed with Sherman.

Outside of OSU, who is on upset alert this week?
I'm in a league and I'm trying to make my pick. I was thinking MSU over Oregon, but that'll be tough at home. It seems like Oregon struggles with physical teams like Stanford, so I thought MSU might win.
My current choice is S. Florida over Maryland. I've also been thinking that Michigan upsets ND.
For whatever reason I have long held a distaste for Ohio State that really was not based on anything other than maybe a bad experience with an Alumni or maybe the silly The that they like to put before Ohio State. After having read the following article I am going to have to rethink my stance. They certainly will never be one of my favorites, but maybe when they're playing teams I don't care about it may make it a little easier to pull for em and heaven forbid if I run into a buddy of mine that roots for them to go along with that Silly O-H-I-OOOOOOOOOO.
So I was thinking of a different bet, the after reaction.
So when we win, what will be the media response:
A) OSU was obviously overrated, as seen by near win over Navy and lose to VT.
B) VT is the real deal this season.
My bet is on A.
It's gonna be a GREAT weekend. Mook did his thing now them HOKIES are gonna do theirs!!

'Twas the night before Buckeye BeatDown, when all thro' the house
Not a Hokie was stirring, not even an ounce
The jerseys were hung by the locker with care,
In hopes that HokieNation soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Buckeye tears danc'd in their heads,
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
Gave the luster of mid-day to objects below;
When, what to my wondering drunk eyes should appear,
But a massive bus and eighteen hundred Hokie peers
We have all thought about it. The clock hits double zero and the Hokies have more points than the Buckeyes. But how have you imagined it? What would be the most satisfying way to beat anOSU?
Personally, I imagine a tied game, 20-20. The Buckeyes have driven down the field and are setting up for a game winning field goal with 4 seconds left. The crowd is going crazy, they know a victory is within grasp. The kicker lines up the ball and they snap the ball. He kicks the game winning field goal and...wait! #11 Kendall Fuller blocks it! Recovered by the #34 Kyshoen Jarrett. He runs down the length of the field with an escort of hokies and, as time expires, he puts it in the endzone. Hokies win Hokies win!
