I've heard that in May he was solid with VT, then he got an FSU offer, and he's since been moved to being a 2014 recruit with like five other offers. What's the latest? Will he actually be able to come to Blacksburg in 2014?

With pursed lips and a last few well placed strokes of my forest green crayon I realized I had just finished a masterpiece. Age 8, and the best T-Rex ever seen stood out on a piece of lined paper made for learning to write out upper and lower-cased words in cursive. Following my lead and shared admiration, my mom took the precious canvas and adorned it upon the fridge next to a scribbled grocery list shortly after getting home that day.

A couple of things stand out to me:
I know everyone is expecting Alabama to win a 3rd straight title. I get it. Let's look at the last time a team was in a position to do this.
In 1996, Nebraska won the past 2 national titles, and had a 25 game win streak going into the season. Everyone who watched college sports expected them to keep winning and get a third straight title then too. In the second game of the season, they entered Sun Devil Stadium to play a team that that was 6-5 the year before. I witnessed one of the greatest Arizona State victories that day when ASU smashed Nebraska 19-0. That's an odd score. I was 9 and learned what a safety was, there were 3 in that game.
But, after reading the nonsense from the geriatrics at the "SideLine", I can't bear to go to the site anymore.
People are now threatening to get rid of not only season tickets...BUT HOKIE CLUB STATUS over us playing WVU 8 fucking years from now.
Simply put, I wish the fanbase was younger. I feel like I'm hanging with my parents over there and now it's gotten to the point of where I'm breaking news (e.g. Billy Ray becoming a Hokie, getting the same info from my dumb WVU Brother in Law that QB got re: WVU/VT)
I know this isn't the place for ranting, and I'm sorry to the TKP staff, but, now I'm pledging allegiance to The University of TKP.
Or something.
I hope those weenie tots are happy now! :p

Word came out yesterday that the Hokies vs Bama matchup is one of the three matchups available for the NCAA 14 demo that is released today. Word has it that XBOX 360 should already be up and PS3 should follow early this afternoon.

Ohio State vs Michigan
