Just keep us out of that cursed #16 spot!
Hard to say definitively, a lot of those ticky tack calls extended drives that had essentially been stopped. Gotta be disheartening for the D (not to mention wearing them down physically, being on the field that much longer).
But also, you mention the called back, obviously we can't say what KC woulda done, had it not gotten overturned, but that was a potential 14 point swing.
That offsides on the FG probably doesn't get called in the SB 9 times out of 10...that's another 4 swing.
The PI in the end zone was atrocious. I don't remember what down that play was, but there was 10 seconds left in the half. Good chance TB takes the FG there, that's another potential 4 points. (not to mention the bad PI call just before that that got them into scoring position).
Would the Chiefs had won with an evenly called game? Who knows, the O-Line had Mahomes running for his life all night...but the score woulda definitely looked a whole lot different, that's for damn sure.
Agreed, but now Fuente himself has erased all potential excuses (unless we're hit with a ton of injuries)
Can't be an ACC contender losing games like this
Ah gotcha
I'm on pace to view the least number of VT league games since joining the ACC thanks to the fucking ACC network.
Edit: looking at their schedule, it looks like the 7pm slot will have Louisville vs Syracuse
I had a friend who picked up a DUI in college, first offense...I wanna say he had some fines, probation, suspended license and some community service.
I would hope to see him back in rotation for Louisville, at the latest
"Quite honestly, I expect this team to be good," Fuente said. "We have guys coming back at every position."
No excuses.
Thank you to all of my family and friends! Today is a special day! pic.twitter.com/fcxySZVWhu— Kameron Olds (@kam_olds2) February 3, 2021
edit:

I would imagine sooner rather than later
In case there are any other non-lawyer term savvy folks like me, one of the replies to the tweet explains that "taking the gun case under advisement for one year" essentially means if Radford stays out of trouble for a year, the charge gets dropped
I gotta throw this one out, the other day, my 6 year old boy was doing something around the house, and was struggling a little bit so I asked, "hey bud, you need a hand?"
he deadass looked at me and said "No thanks, I already have two"

Saw an article from UVa on the basketball game the other day that referenced VT coach Mike Wofford
hey were hungry and gritty, and I didn't feel like we answered that."

Yeah, I think what you said is pretty valid too
I don't think it meant that kind of "resume builder"
I'm saying 7-5 at best
After the bad loss to Syracuse, then losing Radford for the foreseeable future, it seems as though tonight will be a true test of our team.
Do they have....grit??
Radford, le sigh
Or maybe 6'5"
8th grade was my final year of vertical growth
6-5 as an 8th grader

I think it all depends on Young himself, if he is a guy who believes in 2nd chances (which he seems to be, look at one some have already pointed out about Pemsl). Can Radford learn from this and improve himself? If Young thinks so, I think he comes back.

I mean, there is really no question that it wasn't evenly called.
Also, I had no dog in this one.
Fun fact, Brady was on the beneficiary end of the most DPI calls since 1985 this year!
