Well that was fun. My hope is that the boys find the silver lining in this and see that yeah we can beat some of the best in the nation, but that doesn't mean we can coast. This needs to be a wake up call. Play our game and we can beat anyone.
The 1.5 point spread is tempting on this, but as you say, it's tough to tell if we're going to play our game, or down to their level.
This would be great
I'm from the 757, live in the 252 now, OBX...it could still be WTKR for me though. I'm not sure, I jsut know it is on tv, and I've got the DVR set up, though I will be watching live too.
Whatever channel picks up the ACC Network in your area, for me I think it is the CW, or maybe WGNT
But it is ok to take the stance that he could've probably made himself more money by coming back to school.
Agreed that it is okay to take that stance, and I definitely agree that he probably could have made more next year by coming back for 1 more rodeo. We don't know the circumstances behind his decision though, so I'm guessing (100% speculation), that more factors were in play than just the risk of serious injury next year
It's easy to say it's a risk you would take when you don't have an NFL paycheck dangling in front of your face.
I'd like to say I'd take the risk as well, but between the ACL, and didn't he have an ankle issue bothering him this year? I'd probably cash in as well.
2017 might be the year we were all expecting for 2016
edit: or Fuente might work his magic, and 2017 might as good or better than 2016...
How I imagine Tyrod hearing that idea:

My hatred of all things ND makes me hope we've got Jackson taking snaps next year.
When I saw that last night, I definitely got a little nervous as I began reading!
I hope Evans is back, personally, and for him, I think he could use another year to develop. If not, next man up
If we only beat WVU, Clemson and UVA (dont play ND) next year, that means we'll have lost to Delaware, ECU, ODU, Duke, UNC, Pitt, GT, Miami and BC.
I would not consider that a success of any kind.
Dang
'They were running to the car when he slipped, fell, hit his head and slipped into a coma. It was just a freak accident,' Carpenter's cousin Jamila Smith told The Baltimore Sun. 'He was always healthy; he went to the doctor, ate well and worked out.'
edit: from what I read the "They" referred to was Keion and his son.
Agreed, we should be thanking Bert for the 10 minutes of arguing his rules committee knowledge, we were a different team after that.
My boy is 2.5, I can usually get him to watch the game for a solid 5 minutes before I'm getting dragged into the playroom
This 5:30 kick creates a conundrum, do I get home from work, crack a beer and ignore the wife and kid for the evening, or DVR, and start watching after 757 Jr's bedtime (8pm)???
With regards to #4
National college rankings:
Arkansas - #135
VT- #74

I get the business decision of this, don't want to risk the big injury payout in a meaningless game. My hope is that this offseason Tyrod's contract is restructured (his performance doesn't warrant the big money he is slated to get, even though his performance was largely impacted by WR injuries, bad pass protection).
Restructure the deal, get some OL help, FIX THE DEFENSE, and hope the receivers stay healthy, Bills will be playoff bound next year.
this.

Would love to see that, unfortunately, I think Ryan is done in Buffalo, and I think if Ryan goes, Tyrod is out as well (hope I'm wrong). Been seeing a bunch of rumors of Tom Coughlin to Buffalo
