I could see Peoples having a very good night against the Hoos.
And I can see us having a lot of success with that little H back dump off that Virginia took for about 30 yards against Pitt. Ramblin' Rambo makes a triumphant return.
Came here to say this. Against GT, Willis looked light years ahead of how he looked coming in against ODU. I've been really pleased with his development.
Both Pitt and loluva look very beatable.
And tomorrow we get to find out if our defense is Thanos or Iron Man.

If Corn gets the ax, it had better be because Fuente is taking the playcalling back in his own hands.
The old old Big East was when we were in it. The old new Big East was after we left with Miami and BC.
How do you get sanctioned in fucking golf?
Classic.
I'm just over here trying to figure out how you take the level of play that Peoples had been giving us and turn it into a complaint that McClease hasn't been getting enough touches.

I honestly knew we were in trouble the first couple of times I noticed Dax selling out to stop the dive, because it meant Foster didn't trust our DTs to stuff it.
However much you pay him, it's not enough.
Sheperds pie
Bacon wrapped smoked meatloaf
Chicken and dumplings
Beef and noodles
Hot beef sandy- a slice of white bread smothered with pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy
Horseshoe- a slice of Texas toast covered with two hamburger patties, waffle fries and cheddar cheese sauce, often topped with bacon, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, or jalapenos
Italian beef sandwich, dipped, with sweet and hot giardiniera
Dol sot bibimbap- Korean mixed rice served in a hot stone bowl
Spanish for stewed meat.
My rates are reasonable.
This quote from Fuente is dead on:
"You can watch technique, the effort, execution and those sorts of things, but to put it in perspective, I don't know of any offense in the league when they are playing any other ACC team breaks down Georgia Tech film because it's just so different. The defenses line up just so different, so there's no correlation because the defenses are just so different schematically. It's a one-time game that you've got to get lined up and go play in a different manner. So now, we'll get back to playing a normal style this week."
I think a lot of people are looking at the GT game and thinking every team we face in November is going to run all over us just like GT did. What I expect is something somewhere between the Duke and ND games, where our defense gets some key stops, and then some rookie mistakes give up big chunks. (Dexter Williams got more than half his yards for the entire game against us on the 97 yard touchdown run, because a defender was out of position.)
What I don't expect to see in November is another game that looks like the ODU game of catch, because I don't think we face QB the rest of the way who can throw deep accurately under pressure.
This is a great point. It's one thing to show flashes of brilliance when you're the young guy on a seasoned defense. When the rest of the D is fundamentally sound around you, A.) you can lean on your teammates a bit, and B.) there's a lot of pressure on you to not be the weak link in a strong chain. When we have this much youth on the field at one time, that gets subverted. Rookie mistakes are getting compounded by other rookie mistakes, and as a result it's hard for anyone to really have an opportunity to shine.
There's a reason why the Hokies are only considered a 2- to 2.5-point favorite
We're 2 to 2.5 point dogs on all the lines I'm seeing.
I thought AAC is the old new Big East? (As opposed to the old old Big East, which is the conference we used to be in.
That's what it looked like to me all night. So was he just overaggressive? I noticed him trying to jump the snap into the a gap all night but even when GT went back to the dive it never seemed like he was actually in position to disrupt it.
Still the only time it seemed like any of our front seven weren't playing timid, though.
In clip C, does Dax have a spill call, or did he just get tied up with the block on Porcher? It looks like he's trying to sell out to stop the dive. (Looked like that all night, actually.)
Two of the five ended with a Tre Turner drop. One was killed by and offensive P.I. on Kumah. That's the majority of our non-scoring drives attributable to (excusable, IMO) execution errors. So how do the coaches put the players in a better position in those three drives?
That's a bit of a bait and switch, though. Your initial observation started with the premise that "Paul Johnson is Bud Foster's daddy." Yeah, we got boat raced this year. I fully expected that. The past five games before this meeting, though, GT has averaged 23.2 points per game against us, with a high of 30 and a low of 10. I definitely don't think the numbers bear out your assertion.

The Halfwits and Wagers guys will be ecstatic.
