the poor decisions to drive the paint without a clear look...
This killed me. I don't think we have a player on the squad who is a threat to drive the lane. And that's fine, except that we keep trying to freaking do it. Two steps and just kinda noodle-arming the ball in the somewhat general direction of the basket.
The last four minutes of this game was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had in a while. Syracuse's press defense gave us a panic attack.
That was Seahawksesque.
After starting 0-3. Dayum.
When Pierce fouls out I think the whole complexion of this game changes.
Not if we keep draining 3s every time he kicks it out
What are we from beyond the arc tonight? Gotta be impressive.
Some really nice passing, and some Godawful sloppy passing. We need to calm the fuck down.
I always prefer knowing what's gonna keep me from being productive at work ahead of time, rather than having to make it up on the fly.
Nicknamed Skipper forthwith.
Nice start to the second half
If you're ever in the St. Louis area, you MUST stop in to their Bottleworks brewpub in Maplewood, Missouri. Every dish on the menu incorporates one of their beers in the recipe, and they are just good people. You feel like you're a regular the first time you walk in the door.
If you're ever in the Asheville area, I highly, highly recommend Wicked Weed Brewing Company. The brewmaster actually was a brewer at Revolution's brewpub in Chicago before moving back to NC, and all their stuff is quality. We stopped through there on our way back to Illinois on vacation last year, and they were doing a World Cup special where they brewed one type of beer from every nation in the semis, and every single one of them was good. That takes a very well rounded brewmaster to pull off.
Don't believe they're bottling anything, tho, so you'd have to be in Asheville to try it.
If there's a fence around the 757, Zohn Burden is about to sound the trumpet of Jericho.
The best conversations are measured in pints.
Isn't Kendrick Holland 6'3" or 6'4"? Between him and Bucky I think those will be our jump ball threats.

It's pretty obvious the problem has been laid bare. We're improving recruiting while still whiffing on the elite blur chips. It seems Beamer has put an added emphasis on recruiting since the staff shakeup. He probably realizes our dip is correlated with recruiting failures. The question is, will Frank look at our improved recruiting and think, eh, with our coaches it's good enough, or will he be Robert Frost and realize he has promises to keep and miles to go before he sleeps?
The next recruiting cycle or two will answer that, I think.
The Thoroughbreds are in the glue factory now.
This guy sounds custom built for a Torrian Gray backfield. He has experience calling out coverage assignments before he even gets to campus. And he plays the safety position like a wide receiver. I could see him being an interception machine in our secondary.
Zohn Burden. Go.
Ah yes. The Julian calendar, which reckons years from the birth of Jesus, but doesn't make Christmas the start of the new year. Never understood that one. I'm sure there's a reason, just never bothered to look it up.

Also, if you can find Schlafly or Revolution wherever you are, buy whatever it is and drink it. It'll be one of the best whatever you're drinking you've ever had.
If I were a betting man, I'd wager Mook sees the field before Fisher.
Tauriel the ginger elf goddess! I knew she looked familiar.
Thanks. I don't know where I got in my mind he was an O lineman.

When he had a clear pass to a guy inside. Didn't see who, but I mean it was the exact same pass to the foul line we'd been making all night against the zone.
