Who is this dream? It takes quite a woman to make a pantsuit sexy
I don't necessarily think it'll be for us, but his career trajectory suggests he'll get a shot somewhere. Started coaching DBs, so defensive background. Switched to receivers, then helped coordinate the passing game at ODU, which is very pass-happy. Defensive background helps him flesh out a scheme, already has experience in coordinating half of an offense (more like three quarters of the offense at ODU). It's a very strong resume he's building.
Lighter nipples are good. Then again, so are darker nipples.
I'm an empassioned pro-nipple guy.
This guy has future OC written all over him.
Yup. Generally speaking, if we were putting up 500 yards of offense in the Rickey Bustle or Bryan Stinespring eras, it was because we were in a shootout. It looks like the same trend will probably hold under Lefty, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until he gets his scheme fully installed with his own players.
AB-InBev has been on the warpath acquiring craft breweries. I'm worried they're going to go after Schlafly and Revolution. They completely gutted Goose Island, and I'd hate to see them do that to the two best craft breweries in the Midwest right now.
Budweiser or AB-InBev?
They're also talking out of both sides of their mouth, as they have tried so many times to break into the craft beer market, from Bareknuckle Stout to Anheuser World Select to Budweiser Black Crown, all with predictably little success. This ad struck me as AB finally just throwing it's hands up and declaring, "Okay! We give up! We brew swill, and we'll just make fun of the people who don't drink our product!"
I really can't believe Budweiser's best marketing ideas was to pit the people who drink their bet against the craft beer consumers. That's just idiotic. I mean, Bud isn't competing for the craft beer drinkers, and loyal Bud consumers general know jack shit about craft beer. I don't see the net positive to that angle.
Or I could have read the article...
Doesn't Torrian also have strong ties to Baltimore?
Was Moorehead our man in that area? I can't keep it straight.
Thanks! It actually turns out that's the same stuff I was seeing. Am I being too generous saying that I thought it was because we were pressing too hard to overcome the size differential?
The offensive rebound on the second missed free throw killed me, but it just seemed the ball was just bouncing off the rim straight to a WF player.
Right. It's pretty well established that we need to expand our recruiting footprint, but I don't think that alone will solve our problems. I think we need both an expanded radar AND improvement in our own back yard. We can't live and die by the 757, but we MUST be able to recruit it.
I am really impressed with the ODU fanbase. They seem like a pretty classy bunch.
The fact checking by you, VTGuitarMan and HokiesFTW123 is making me feel quite a bit better about the situation. Thanks for putting in the effort.
But it seems there's simply no way to get an accurate count of a coach's in homes?
Benefits package rumored to include a fat stack of Hardee's thickburger coupons.
Love it.
Also a chance to mention, I love that he has experience coaching DBs. He understand the passing game on both sides of the ball. That can't hurt.
I'm assuming it doesn't list when he visits a school, etc., because Bud's profile doesn't list when he visited Oscar Smith for Sweat and I've seen newspaper articles referencing that visit. Think that's it?
And I'll probably get called out for rumor and speculation for saying this, and I am NOT trying to do that. But this is either a situation where Beamer doesn't want to do in homes, or he physically can't. And I'm not sure which I'd prefer, honestly. I don't think there's a better of those two alternatives.
I agree, we can't judge the recruiting aspect just yet. But we are still getting one hell of a position coach who will give it his all in whatever recruiting territory he is assigned.
Zohn Burden.
Seconded. Motion carries unanimously.
Thank you for this.
Zero in-homes this recruiting cycle? That's just...wow.

Whatever happened to the Perdue verbal O lineman we were flirting with?
