Unfortunately for Thomas and his sons, the judge denied the temporary restraining order yesterday. Haven't seen anything with details on why.
Watched a local news clip but reporter really wasnt clear on the reason either.
Update: Judge decided that they didnt follow the appropriate VHSL Appeal process although there technically wasnt anything official to appeal until the season had already started even though VHSL started investigating in July. VHSL didnt rule them ineligible until the third week of the season. Seems like a BS ruling given all the rest of what was documented.
Cal scored 3 TDs against a UNC team that had allowed 34, 38, and 48 to the three P4 teams they had faced. If UNC just held on to the ball they come out with a win. Cal was forced to punt on 8 of 12 possessions. That also was the 3rd highest amount of points UNC has scored this year. They put up 41 against Richmond and 20 against Charlotte.
As bad as we have been, we still have managed 20 or more points in all but one game.

I did chuckle when Godfrey was doing the exercise of where the fired coaches should go and he packaged Franklin and Pry to NC State initially and then a minute later said something along the lines of if they could get into an ACC program like NC State or Virginia Tech and hit the ground running that would be great for them because of the jokes I've seen on TKP of Franklin coming here and keeping Pry as DC
I had heard there was a big lump sum donation that had already been secured but we were waiting on a strategically opportune moment to announce it, which is where that philanthropy money was coming from.
But, the longer this goes the less I am inclined to believe it is happening. Which is the only part about this I am truly worried about, I would really hate it if we had that dog and pony show of the big announcement and all that over nothing more than hopes and dreams.
