The scene you mention with Partagaz is great, I really liked the little back and forth with Krennic and Partagaz right before that as well.

Moving on to East Regionals which are the 28th-31st in Jacksonville. I'm pulling this from the performance list, official start lists haven't been posted yet. Despite a poor showing at ACC championships, a lot of good times this season that qualified folks for regionals. Need to finish in the top 12 to make the NCAAs in Eugene.

That said, IMO the challenge (for fans and patrons) isn't just getting to burg; it's staying there. A game day weekend is easily thousands of dollars for couple, much less a family, from out of town.

I live in the DC area and haven't been to a game weekend since 2019 when my brother was a student and I had a place to stay for free. At this point, with the costs and time it takes to get there, it's like choosing between a long weekend anywhere in North America and watching us turn the ball over 3 times to lose to Syracuse (or fill in the blank dog crap program)

So location is 100% an issue. But OP's correct in that I would gladly pay that once a year if I thought I would see a competent football team beat a power conference opponent.

Even with everything that the last ten years had brought, how is Penn St ahead of us?

Let's see 3 years at 30 weeks (15 a semester) and 3 times a week is 270 times I ate Schultz breakfast whcih cost me $324 total. I still miss that breakfast.

So bringing it back to this discussion - how many artist are able to make the economics work? How many artist are going to have shows in Atlanta, Charlotte, and DC, but be able to attract fans from those cities to travel to Blacksburg for a show? What artists are in this venn diagram of (a) makes sense for the artist to perform at VT, (b) makes sense for fans, and (c) makes sense for VT? My understanding is that live nation had to subsidize Metallica to get this to make financial sense?

Welp... Canes are getting exposed as the early 1990s Bills/2004-2011 Virginia Tech Football and/or the Panthers are a dynasty in their way.

Gonna try and enjoy the Canes success over 90% of the NHL, but they need to take a long look in the mirror and hopefully retool to take the next step.

Don't think Florida will fall off anytime soon.
They did the "tough" thing and retooled from a regular season juggernaut to a postseason one and Canes need to try and do the same.

Not sure I've ever heard of it. Though the name sounds vaguely familiar. Of course, I'm 55 and graduated in 1991.
