A Hokie can hope!
Where in FL, we lived in Melbourne area for 22 years.
I always saw him as a starter as a sign we were not doing well on OL. He's been average and I have been hoping for awhile that he gets passed up.
Here's a slight variation using a density map to show recruiting "hot beds" for us. Just thought it was another interesting way to look at our recent trends.

sucks, wish him the best; always liked the guy. not a world beater, but definitely not a liability like others.. my thoughts are that cunningham and ghannam finally got coached up, and the wv guys are showing out
Brady had a ridiculously quick release, he negated si many potential huge hits because if it
I've been to over 50 stadiums, and honestly none of the SEC ive been too are in my top 5 stadiums to watch games at. Ole Miss has a great tailgate, UT also has great fun before the game, USCe is eh, MSU is the best stadium experience when they are decent (read: Dak years), but it's on par with WVU. Bama is pretentious, sane with OU. Vandy is the worst I've been too, and A&M isn't as fun as they were under Slocum. I haven't been to LSU.
Sleeper experience is definitely Hawaii, Aloha bowl is a rust bucket, but they love their team and everything around the game was great. It helped that I was there for Colt Brennen to tie the NCAA TD record before he got concussed.
I also love watching games in Bobby Dodd with the Atlanta skyline at night.
We need
FloridaVirginia kids I can't name a successful Hokies Team without aFloridaVirginia kid on it.
Wait - does this mean we are tampering?
Belfort on an official visit to UCF
I hope this means we know these WVU transfers are coming.
Ouch! Ask my wife - it's definitely everything Hokie!
Even living in FL, still go to 3 games a year when we kinda suck.
🏈CFB Portal Predictions: Kody Huisman to Virginia TechAfter entering the transfer portal with a "do not contact" tag and scheduling a visit with Virginia Tech it seems as though they are a team to watch. The DT spent time with North Dakota State before making this choice pic.twitter.com/77xzueMqMl— crossovermuse (@crossovermuse) April 22, 2025
North Dakota State defensive tackle Kody Huisman is visiting Virginia Tech this week, his agency Dream Makers tells @On3sports. The 6-4, 289-pound DL and All-MVC Honorable Mention has 73 career tackles, 12.5 TFLs and 2 forced fumbles.Intel: https://t.co/YK0ohzTC8H pic.twitter.com/eaPCbXMRIf— Pete Nakos (@PeteNakos_) April 21, 2025
On the plus side, USCe won't know who to scheme for on the D-line, right??
Hopefully the plan is to turn Norfolk St. into an FCS juggernaut and feeder school for VT
considering how awful our ol has been... hard to tell if it is good or bad news
He was always one of my favorites. Loved him on ESPN Sunday Night Football growing up. RIP
What kind of Addict are u really.....?
JK
Wow, didn't see this one coming
RIP Mike Patrick. He was a much more balanced broadcaster.
He recently did a Maine Cabin Masters show, he was graceful on that show. His cabin was quaint but nice.
His quality of broadcaster is sadly missed these days.
Sounds like a really cool experience. I bet the kids loved it!
I'm only 2.5 hours from Gainesville, so hoping to get there for a football game someday soon. Probably hit up Tallahassee this fall.
I've given up trying to compare us to SEC teams, but I still have bucket list trips to see games in those stadiums.
The clips of their spring game look dope. Iverson and Tyrod in attendance, along with plenty more I'm sure.
I hope Vick is successful there and finds his way to VT at some point in the future
L. F. G!!!

This draft may change some fan's perspective on the staff. If we have 4 players taken in the first 3-4 rounds I think many fans will be wondering why we didn't do better than 6-7. Now we have seen the OC, OL coach, and DC head out of town, so either Pry is incompetent or he deserves credit for realizing performance wasn't where it needed to be and make changes.
