I'll be honest - I completely forgot we had a baseball team the last 2 weeks. It appears I missed nothing. VT needed to sweep BC to have any kind of hope of an at-large. Now the only foreseeable way into the postseason is to win the ACCT, and that's not gonna happen. Not with this pitching staff.

The extra seating is nice. I've been wanting to go too some games this year. But if you aren't there like an Hour and a half before game start. You are going to have hard times finding a seat

I'd be very surprised if he competes next year, based on timing and severity of injury. I don't know if he will get a medical for this past season based on how much he competed and when the injury occurred. It's a bit too in the weeds for me. He's pretty much guaranteed to get one if he sits out next year in my opinion.

Yeah definitely was a heavy VT contingent around the entire field. Just dont see how that place will work for ACCs. Didn't even look like they were letting people sit on the grass hillside along each baseline. Ton of people on the grass in the outfield. Just really weird look with zero seats above either dugout. I am sure they claim it is for athlete safety from fans but having a buffer zone is one thing, completely wiping out those entire areas is something else.

At this point, not sure but Vols Basketball twitter last night put out their version of commitment anticipated.

A side note on Nelson, her little sister just committed to Northwestern out of the portal from Syracuse.

Yeah for as new as their stadium is its weird how its all standing room on the concourse above the dugouts with their really only being established seats behind home plate. Real bizarre layout

So many seats open behind home plate for a major UVA VT game. Homie fans really took a huge chunk of seats down first base side too.

But selling any company for a billion+ takes mad skills.

I feel like this simple point is lost in all discourse today. Yes, luck plays a huge factor in success. But skill and hard work also matter.

I'm not sure why this is a conversation... Margaret Ann Smith is farmer. Rocovich has had most of his success as a lawyer. McCarthy has had success in the military and defense sector. Pearson is a business owner/founder and ex-military. Looks like at most 25% of the BoV has significant experience in the education sector (beyond being on the board).

He's just as qualified for the role as anyone else on the board.

the way I read it , Sanghani was on the board 2014-2022, and not on the board the past 4 years. He seems to a consistent (D) pick who is an advocate and supporter of the football program. Meanwhile, Rocovich seems to be a regular (R) selection who is an advocate and supporter of the football program.

Hokies success is a bipartisan issue!
